Chris McKenna's Dad (a really nice bloke) works for the Wynnum Manley Leagues club (nr Brisbane),
Graham Murray, the ex Leeds coach (98/99) has just been appointed as head coach there, he has been working there as Chief Executive since 2010.
Wynnum Manley is the club that Chris, Wally Lewis and Gene Miles amongst others started their careers.

| Re Sterlo, remember seeing him stood on the terraces watching Leeds against Sheffield Eagles when it was played at Saltergate.
Highlight of the day for me then!

Don't beat yourself up over the error. At least you put the effort in.
Leeds as a club has always generated fans of a peculiarly shallow and fickle nature who possess little to no appreciation of the history or heritage of the club or the game in general. This explains why neither the club nor the supporters have ever maintained a database in any shape or form of past players and match results since the year dot. They can't even fully account for their precious SL era of a mere 16 years.
Saints and Wigan fans in particular are honourable exceptions, particularly in their endeavours to provide and maintain detailed online resources.

You make a valid point with regard to the lack of detailed information on former players and historical match details at the Leeds club. I have never understood why the club did not buy the rights to the history recorded by the late Ken Dalby and put it all in the Leeds website for all to see.
However without the availability of this information it is a bit unfair to be critical of younger fans for any lack of appreciation of the history of this great club.
