He opened up a great line for Hall with an offf-load but Hall was too far back after an earlier ptb and his other offload was ok aswell ,found a Leeds player for a 2nd phase.
Defensively he hit well one of which resulting in Collis going into touch with a combined effort from RB.
He was certainly one of the positives along with Wardy.

He added much needed enthusiasm in defence (as did ward), bit of late footwork and offload could have released Hall had he been up with play, came in looking for work. Solid debut for a lad not been playing 20s for more than a year for a side that were going backwards doing their best to concede all the ball and field position they could! The e that is written on here, honestly!

I was actually impressed and thought he showed some potential, he certainly looked physically ready. Good appetite for work, got involved and some good defence.

I'm glad the likes of McGuire, Sinfield, Burrow weren't written off after their debuts.

Keinhorts was enthusiastic and industrious when he came on, not frightend to get stuck in and did little wrong + It was his début for God sake!

What? give over. He didn't set the world alight, but looked far from average in his defensive duties. Actually manned up really really well in defence, and wasn't afraid to put in the work.

Fair enought the performance did nothing to change my view about not making it as a super league player, but he certainly gave it a damn good shot last night and deserves another go.

Solid debut for me, looked a little nervy at first, but when he got going didnt look out of place at all. Didnt shirk any responsibility and ran forwards. As folk have said, cant blame Jimmy for more illustrious players coughing up possession and penalties on a regular basis.

If ablett is fit then fair enough he should play centre, but I think Delaney needs to be in the forwards, think we missed him last night.

Young player on debut didn't show himself up at all and needs time and patience particulary from his home fans

I thought he tried his best to create a bit of space and get the ball to Hall when he could last night.

Given the limited opportunity's he had this can only be encouraging for the future and after watching the forwards get turned over by some very average players I would be desperate to put both Ablett & Delaney in the SR when fit.

Comapre Keinhorsts performace against those of the established team-mates and there's not much differnce.

Then add into the mix a bit of context, the facts that he was on debut and a youngster and i can safely say that he can walk away with his head held high. Unlike others......

I was happy with Jimmy's SL debut and.look forward to him progressing as he gets further chances in the first team. He looked physically strong and didn't appear overawed so could have that important mental strength too.

For the love of god. Yes, the lad wasn't completely dire. Neither did he set the world alight and, despite NE & Rhinom's love of playing the kids, he should be dropped as soon as one of our senior centres is available. Yes, he might be of the required standard in future, but he isn't now.

First of all your initial post re-Keinhorsts performance was total bollox as reflected by the many + replys.
Secondly this "love of playing the kids" is a fricking myth taken out of context.
I've always said when you have a 30 man squad you should rotate the squad especially in the pack there are "easier fixtures" where we could and should blood 1 or 2 ,the same applys at Easter ,the Exiles series and also if some are consistantly out of form.
Now given how well our U20's have performed overall this year and how the 1st team have at times then there has been cases for some to get a chance on more than one occasion and last night it was Keinhorsts turn which he did well in playing in a well beaten team.
With the squad needing re-shaping then imo the U20's with most potential deserve first shot at it rather than wasting money on players like Hauraki and over-reliance on 35yr old Props who although can produce the big game performances need resting more often than not before hopefully retiring.

I was right in line with that and it was a smashing little cameo of cracking centre play. As you said, had the otherwise excellent Hall been up with play it would have been a real opportunity and had people drooling. That alone showed he is more of a natural centre than Hardaker.

Otherwise, I liked his enthusiasm. Saw him brushed off quite easily once or twice but that's no significant worry at this stage of his development.

First time I've seen Keinhorst play at any level. Visually he reminded me of Lee Smith. Time will tell if that's a pre or post Union Smith but certainly worth further opportunities as and when they present themselves.

I particularly liked McDermott's willingness to get him into the game as early as possible. Webb off, Hardaker, Ward and Burrow switched around to introduce Lunt. Ten out of ten for imagination about two out of ten for faith in your replacement back.

Just a young man making his debut, would anyone expect him to be outstanding given the game circumstances. He did better than many of his team mates and can certainly hold his head high. I would need to see more of him in SL level but isn't that what blooding is about introducing them steadily to the new pace and strength required. well done jimmy

I thought Jimmy looked solid last night, it's a shame we don't give our centres enough ball in games.
