All games that will have to have been paid for, not included within a season ticket and three cup finals with all the resultant expense.

Could easily be talking £200 a person for that little lot in the last 12 months, upwards of £600 for a family of four.

2003-2011 seasons I work out the number of games in addition to regular SL rounds as:
Saints - 62 (incl 6 Grand Finals, 4 Cup Finals & 2 WCC's)
Leeds - 60 (including 6 Grand Finals, 4 Cup Finals & 4 WCC's)
Wigan - 57 (2 Grand Finals, 2 Cup Finals & 1 WCC)
Bradford - 38 (3 Grand Finals, 1 Cup Final & 2 WCC's)
Wire - 36 (2 Cup Finals)
Hull FC - 34 (1 Grand Final & 2 Cup Finals)
Wakefield - 21

I included Hull and Wakefield to give a sense of perspective between the "top" teams, the average and the bottom teams.

Exactly, which is why it is ridiculous for fans of other clubs to suggest we don't care anymore about our success and the fans not being bothered to support the club in showpiece finals and knock out games. I'd imagine a vast majority of our fans who chose not to attend is due to financial constraints, rather than simply not being bothered anymore as others seem to think. It is a fact that supporting the Rhinos will cost more than any other team, and we have to pick which 'extra' games we attend due to cost. Not that i'm complaining about having to do that though!

Interesting - so over the last 8 years we have played, on average 3.25 more games each year than Warrington.

That's problem with getting to Grand Finals.

By the way there was a Vulcan over York the other day, and I don't mean a bloke with pointy ears. Came over quite low, scared the bejesus out of me in my office, then banked to the left and buggered off. Was a cracking sight, especially when it turned.

I don't think anyone is complaining tad mate, it's just trying to gather an understanding as to why there more Leeds season ticket holders than Warrington but less CC final ticket sales.

She flew an airtest and practise display sortie to Church Fenton before doing a few circuits at Elvington and back to base at Finningley (Robin Hood Airport)

Appreciate and savour it while you can. Plans are being developed for her post second flying life and I suspect the end is relatively near. End of this year or next.

I hope my mate has bought the tickets from the club,I have booked my flight its cost enough flying in August.I also hope we are at the front of the queue for the coaches from HQ we got on 2nd from last in 2010 and didnt have much time before KO when we got there

I don't expect us to be out numbered at all. The build up to the CC Final last year was totally negative with most fans expecting an embarassing defeat, this caused alot to be put off.

I also feel that due to regularly getting to major finals over the last 10 or so years, we have a more relaxed approach to getting tickets. There's no need to rush and queue for hours at the ticket office, simply buy them from the RFL website in the end you want or nip down to the ticket office when convenient. Anybody who wants a ticket for Wembley will get one.

Again i'm another on here and along with 6 mates to have bought tickets from the RFL, so really until the actual day of the game and we can see both end of Wembley can we lay off the doom and gloom of projected attendence figures because no one can be sure due to the apparent heavy use of the RFL for tickets by Leeds fans in particular.

Completely agree with all that. I go to actually watch the game and I want to do that relatively undisturbed in a civilised environment away from all the drunks, barfers, loudmouths, bigots, bandwagoners and club shirt-wearers. That's been my policy for a very long time. The only exception I made to that policy was at the 2005 CC Final when it was a last minute decision to attend and someone else had procured the tickets from the club. It wasn't a day I wish to experience ever again. I used to be a regular in the southstand but sacked it off completely around the same time that irksome band was deployed in there.

I can imagine you being the type who would sit with a tartan rug over your legs to keep warm, quietly clapping when we score and telling people who shout and cheer to be quiet. Also complaining about everything about the game being thoroughly miserable throughout before leaving early to 'beat the traffic'.

and fwiw, i'll be there in the Leeds end with my fellow leeds fans with my Leeds top on shouting and singing at the top of my voice to back the team I support. I'll enjoy watching creeps like William eve sitting by themselves shaking their head in disbelief at every play in the match moaning at the quality of play. Life is short, live it ffs.

Don't revel in sitting with neutrals, certainly there are usually plenty sat amongst us, and I don't mind people drinking. I shout and cheer my team on but choose not to stand in the southstand or go with the club as I don't really appreciate blokes vomiting and swearing round my young family. And there is a large eliment of chavs who cannot handle their beer. I appreciate it's a free country and people can do what they want that's why I get tickets away from that. We still enjoy the atmosphere without the vomit
