I'd be a little more ruthless, even if it means blooding players from the U20s ahead of when you'd maybe want to. If McDermott rollls out the same 17 again after his post-match comments then he's a lame duck with the players IMO.

I've mentioned the very same approach elsewhere AG but i'd have Singleton in for Kirke ,JJb would be in the backrow with Delaney and Clarkson at 13.

I'm not sure what Clarkson offers, whether you play him from the start or off the bench.

Doesn't dominate collisions either with or without the ball, doesn't have an offload game or quick feet. Needs to kick on and show that having a full-time contract is improving his game because I'm not seeing it at the moment.

He has an eye for the try line brings much more enthusiasm in defence than many established stars imo and whilst i agree there are things he needs to improve i don't think he deserves to be cut.

WRT to Burrow he was playing 1st receiver and simply handing on to Sinfield in the 1st half and completely ineffective in attack.

Second half I thought he attacked the line a lot more, whether out of dummy half or 7 and we went forward a lot better as a result.

Yorkshire, after their winning start yesterday, play Durham starting on Thursday at Headingley.

Man for man nothing between the sides. However the giants are supurbly coached, every player knows his job and they play as a unit. We on the other hand are a disorganised shambles

i am coming to the game on Friday. I will be driving down the A1 then the A 64 into Leeds . Is there anywhere good on that route i can stop for something to eat ( i Like a nice Curry).
