I didnt boo Eastwood myself but I feel if that players are prepared to take the plaudits when they play well then they should accept the critiscm when things arn't going your way.

I hope that if he continues to paly this season and we win a trophy this season he will stay because he has the potential to be a top notch player.

But he isnt being booed or criticised for playing badly, he is being booed for being homesick and wanting to return to australia.

I’ve travelled to the other side of Europe before to work so I know where Greg is coming from. In fact I was a lot younger than Greg and only lasted two weeks.

Getting the bus into town to sign on does not constitute travelling from one side of Europe to the other to work Damo lad!!!

I have never, or will ever boo a Rhinos player, even though i have seen plenty of instances whereby both player and team performances have been very poor during my 33 years as a fan of the club

IMO booing any team or any individual player for that matter is a sign of a bad attitude

There was no booing. I thought at first there was but it was the SS shouting, "Beaaaaaaaaaaaaaast" and as several sections were not in time with each other then it did sound a little like booing. With JP out we really need this guy as Kylie can't do it for 80 minutes. His commitment on the field cannot be faulted, he looks very unit but he is so powerful. What he needs is a woman over here (any volunteers?) and he should really be shacked up with the party animals Delaney and Biff!

Where I stand you can pretty much hear most noise in the SouthStand and there was Boos

I was on West Terrace and I didn't hear any boos so I doubt Beast did so it's irrelevant anyway IMO.

I spoke with Greg after the game and I have to say he was extremely obliging signing all the autographs he was asked for and posing for dozens of photos. He was the last one to leave the pitch and we left at around 10.45. I said we could do with him staying for next year as he was starting to pick up some form and he said "we'll see mate, we'll see" I hope he does stay as if we could get a full season from him next year we'll then realise the kind of player we've bought

From the north stand I heard a few rounds of "only one Greg Eastwood" but no booing.

From my location in the SS i heard distinctive booing from close by.The crowd noise coming from further along toward the SS centre certainly seemed to include booing at different stages.That was also the opinion of those with me.
Perplexing behaviour in my view....whether we 'like' or agree with his stated reasons for wanting to leave,he is still playing for us.

Every time Greg received the ball a section of the southstand was booing him. Glad that the small minded minority were drowned out by those making more positive noises later in the game.
