I think he's a deserving winner. In an age where football is ran by overpaid, cheating prima donnas it's nice to see a real positive role model win something like this.

I don't think anyone is saying he's not a great role model or a great player, just that he shouldn't have got an annual award in a year when he didn't do anything particularly special.
