Squad announced for Sunday

England World Cup stars Rob Burrow and Jamie Jones-Buchanan will return to action on Sunday for Leeds Rhinos against Huddersfield Giants at Headingley Carnegie, kick off 3pm.
Burrow has not played since suffering a dead leg in the Rhinos win at Castleford last month and Jones-Buchanan missed last week’s loss at Catalans with a shoulder injury suffered in the win over Hull FC.

For Jones-Buchanan, his return is another reason for celebration after his wife Emma gave birth to the couple’s third son on Thursday, Kurgan Jay.

Leeds will be without their trio of England stars Jamie Peacock, Ryan Hall and Danny McGuire for Sunday’s game so youngsters Kallum Watkins, Ben Jones-Bishop and Michael Ratu are drafted into the squad.

Full back Jones-Bishop is yet to feature in the first team this season after making nine appearances last season whilst 21-year-old centre Ratu has not made a first team appearance since making his debut against Salford in 2007.

the end to blueys rhino's tv interview was interesting re his opinion on our penalty count situation. bluey says he's been intouch with cummings this week. he goes on to say he looks forward to a more level playing field re the pen counts and says he feels leeds are doing things no different from other teams but copin it from the refs and it has got to a point where something needed to be said? good on him thats what i think!!

We have seen it clear as day in specific matches.

But there is no excuse for dissent. That is something where a ref can not show inconsistency.

or on the other hand! ask what leeds are doing wrong that our oposition arnt! go away and work on it and see our situation improve.

by speaking to the refs direct and not bleeting about it in his post match interview on the final whistle he just might have gained some more respect from cummings and his clowns.

and lets face it when other has complained direct to the refs like anderson re smith and wakey re klien it worked in their favour.

Leeds are ill disciplined. They mostly get penalised because they deserve too, same as every other team in the league.
