Bladder aside, what did you think of Defiance?? I don't know if I'm getting tired of the Daniel Craig shtick already.

Excellent tbh and made all the more remarkable that it was a true story (though I am sure they took artistic licence).

We tried to gatecrash the private screening the other wednesday but failed.

It was excellent. Craig's character is central but he plays one of four brothers and it's far from Bond.

I don't mind Craig. I actually quite liked the last bond. It didn't bother me too much that they'd gone quite Bourne with it as I liked Bourne. Also, Craig played Bond closer to how he was written by Ian Fleming in Casino Royale than any of his predecessors.

Plus, he does look a dish in those shorts. In 6 months time I'd have those abs.

I was very disappointed with the last Bond film, especially after the excellent start they made with Casino Royale. It's not Craig's fault, he plays Bond very well, as you say, I just didn't think the plot had any substance at all.

I've not seen Bourne, but if it's anything like that I don't think I'll bother.

Oh, and I saw Gran Torino, starring Clint Eastwood, last week. A very cliched plot for a film, but Clint makes it. He plays Clint the old guy, obviously, but he does it very well.

Glad you enjoyed it. I liked him in Casino Royale and Layer Cake. Wasn't blown away with the new Bond and The Invasion was just a joke.

Haven't seen The Invasion (I try and avoid Nicole Kidman movies, unless it's for w[iank[/iing material) but I agree about Layer Cake.

I saw him in something a few months ago where he was a layabout shagging his girlfriend's mum. It was a dreadfully boring drama but I guess he was doing his proper "actor" bit.

I also thought he was good in that one with Rhys Ifans even if the film was a bit odd-ball.

Craig plays the bad guy in Tomb Raider too! Only saw that for the first time last week

I agree. Quantum's an odd film, it has none of the charm or humour of Casino Royale, and as for that Ukranian woman - were no geniune hispanic actresses available?



Oh no. No no no. The Bourne series is excellent, the inspiration for the re-invented Bond. The third Bourne film is an absolutely superb thriller.

3 solid films. Plots in these films are always daft, but I suspend belief at the sofa!!

Good pace to them all, great hand fist fight action, super cat and mouse sequences and great locations. Damon plays the role very well, covers alot of bases.

After having them recommended to me at work the following were poor to watch for me, took too long to get going and felt like i'd been watching for hours.

Taxi Driver - good at the end that's it
Blade Runner - Boring and too many Coke advertisements

The most disapointing things about some of the recent Bond films are the villains. they're rubbish.

Aye. What I meant was Solace seem to "borrow" a lot from Bourne in relation to cinematograhpy and the action sequences.

The Bourne series is a must LP.

I love that scene where Angelina is standing atop the waterfall and looks over her shoulder at him and says 'Are you going to shoot me, Alex?'. She was never sexier (except in that film where she lezzed off with that one out of Lost).

Tell you what's a good w*nk....

....a film she's in called 'Taking Lives'. Don't think it did much at the box office. It also stars Ethan Hawke and Kiefer Sutherland.

She end up romping with Hawke, good stuff!!! Plenty of b*ob shots and a bit of gash, check it out!!!!

I've just downloaded those in 720p look forward to watching them.

What order do they go in?

I'd watch the first one to start with, then the second one, and finally the third.

Think I'll download the Bourne films tonight. Heard loads of good things about them but not really Matt Damons biggest fan so has usually put me off!
