| Decided I'm sold on Brock Osweiler and would pick him in the 3rd or lower provided he's still there. Unlimited upside as long as we are patient and also has a great passion for the game. Something you love to see in a QB

Joe Flacco is 6ft 6ins if I am right. He's done well so far.

| New Nike NFL uni's are unveiled today, can't see many changes being made other than they will be tighter fitting and the sponsor patch obviously.
Apparently the Seahawks are the only team making major changes, hope they don't use the lime green colour they had on their alternate shirt

London Blitz's EFL game away at "Flash de la Corneuve" (Great name that) kicks off at 6pm.
Might not be everyone's cuppa tea, but it's basically the Champions League equivalent.

| If the fins are not sold on a QB early they should take a look at Kellen Moore in the 6/7th. He's short yes but apart from that he reminds me so much of Chad Pennington in that he hasnt got the strongest arm but he is a leader with great accuracy and football I.Q. At that point in the draft what would we have to loose?

| Shannahan has said he's fallen in love with two QBs in this draft and would be delighted with either.
The fanbase has fallen in love with RGIII because nobody really expects the Colts to pass on Luck so I expect their'd actually be an air of dissapointment with the fans if the Colts do take RGIII. That's bizarre because Luck would be a great player.
That's the beauty of the trade, the pressure is on the Colts to pick the right one but we will get a great prospect no matter what they do. And no way are we like San Diego with Ryan Leaf. RGIII is the anti-leaf.
Having said all of the above I think it's very obvious to everyone that the Colts are taking Luck.

| Yeah the Colts are locked in with Luck. RG3 hasn't even worked out in Indy yet. Not that a means a massive amount, but if he genuinely thought there was a chance he would go there,he'd at least have met them and gone over a portion of the play book like he has with Washington.
The top of this draft is so similar to the Manning/Leaf draft. Luck is a cant miss prospect...he just won't be a bust. RG3 has all the upside in the world, but is much more of a gamble. Imagine Mike Vick with pocket presence. Thats what he could be.

| Late notice I know, but if anyone's interested, the BUAFL finals are being held today (Saturday) at the John Charles Stadium
Plate final: Bath Killer Bees vs Sheffield Sabres - 1PM
Playoff final: Hertfordshire Hurricanes vs Birmingham Lions - 5PM
It's about £3 entry, should be a good day. Birmingham have had their annual Pete Carroll pep talk, see if it works better than last year.

| I half expected the Redskins to find a way of ballsing up their selection, but it seemed they got it right.
I really liked what Dallas did in the draft and prior. With Carr picked up in free agency, Claiborne drafted, plus Scandrick and Jenkins on the roster, that's four very good corners the Cowboys have. The league has changed to the point that a defence of a front seven with four DBs is no longer the default, and teams spend as much time with a front six and five DBs. The Dallas secondary now gives them players who can cover in both man and zone and match up with any combination of receivers.

| Was really annoyed with the NFL last night. All over the place they advertised the draft would be streamed live. What they didn't tell you anywhere was that it was only if you paid for Game Pass off season. Robbing bar stewards. Had I known I wouldn't have stayed up to see the RGIII selection.
Anyway, obviously no surprises from the Redskins point of view but clearly delighted we've got our guy.
I think the new format of the draft and the rookie pay scale will make it much more entertaining a=which we saw (or didn't see) last night with the trades.

Completely agree on the pay scale. It was at the point that a high 1st round pick was almost a negative, due to the risk involved in the size of contract that had to be given to that unproven pick - as the Raiders kept finding out.
