Probably a fair result,good entertaining game that swung one way then the other all night. Sam Walters and Corey Johnson the stand outs for Leeds, jake sweeting Robbie storey and kian Morgan all outstanding for the tigers.

Cas deserved a point if not more. Very sloppy from Leeds tonight.

Thought Corey was excellent. So good around the ruck. Walters good again. Iwan Stephens did well and scored a full lengther too.

Leeds got joy down their left when attacking but got obsessed with it even when Cas had solved their issues.

Disappointing showing tonight but it's a Leeds team with a few top players out for one reason or another.

Rob Burrow didn't sound keen at all in his post-match interview.

Any update on Holroyd's foot injury?

I went too, and I repeat what I said previously. I am a big fan of Corey and always have been. However, Walters is so far ahead of everyone else in that academy set up. He should be getting integrated to first team now, he is on a different planet to all the other forwards. The props are quite poor if been honest, and only McConnell puts in the really hard stamina work.

And I have never understood why we perserve with Spence. I really don't like how we take players on just because of family connections. Same with Scrimshaw aswell, although he wasn't playing.

Walters could be frightening once he fills out a bit, tall skilful and mobile with great leg drive.

In Oledski, Walker, Newman, Broadbent, Holroyd, Johnson, Walters, Trout and maybe McLelland we have a clutch of real quality juniors already there or thereabouts I think. Some good 16s too with potential.

We don’t need all of the remaining 19s to make the cut and many won’t I guess.

To be fair some of the current 19s are first years and have plenty of development time on their side.

Did Delaney and McLelland play last night?

McLelland didnt play.

Delaney played but was taken off early after a couple of missed tackles and penalties. That happens though.

Harvey Spence doesn’t have any family connections ,he got signed due to the fact he showed a lot of talent in his age group

Should be out of the boot now if not this week and then it's another couple of week of rehab for Tommy.

19s 26-0 up at Warrington and playing absolutely fantastic

Is that the same Reece Hamlett that was at Wigan playing for Warrington today? Didnt know theyd signed him if it is.

36-0 currently. Iwan Stephens has just scored an amazing hat trick try

36 - 6 win at Warrington. Really good performance. Dupree and Moorhouse superb off the bench. Whitton and Stephens good in attack.

Walters sin binned for fighting with Wire 9 who literally had to jump to punch him which was a highlight of the season moment.

Really good showing from the lads. The first 20 was very physical from both teams but Leeds maintained it and once Dupree and Moorhouse came on they took control.

Thanks again Marty. Not bad considering the amount of talent out on loan at present - and would imagine Wire were right up for this after what happened last time out.

It'll be interesting to see how the club progress with Stephens, he's a brilliant prospect, and better than Walker at the same age IMO, but he's far too small to be an SL winger, and Walker obviously has the FB spot for the foreseeable future.

I know what Charlie means but Stephen's is strong, jumps incredibly high and catches ball way above his head under the high ball. Hes a very good young player. Very impressed by him.

Anyone see how Mclelland went on for Fev at Toronto? Ended pretty close.

Quite impressive but in flashes with ball in hand rather than controlling the game. That said, in a team of varying abilities, that would be a big ask for anyone. Some nice touches though.

Thought McCllelland was very good, thought he went well against Fax a couple of week ago aswel, but better again today.

Fev are a good team to watch, there second row Brad Day is quality.

Wish Tom Briscoe had Lukes heart, he's a proper battler.

Jack Broadbent with a good try for Batley today, broke from halfway and rounded the fullback.

Sam Walters has joined Batley for a month. Good move for all I would think.

Very good move, interested to see how he gets on. Did you see Broadbents long range try and try assist for Batley last week? Absolute class.

Shame we couldn’t have got him over to Fev, working with Carr. Far too good for 19’s though, and the best player for me in that group. Should be first team very soon.
