Well ground out win, very tense at the end but we know what to expect from this group of players now when it gets to this time of year so it's far from a shock. I know many will think there is no point in us showing up for another humiliation next week but i'm quietly confident and it feels as if we have nothing to lose this time.

A great win tonight but to do it without the SS & with a lowered capacity deserves extra credit imo.
It must be a bit unusual to play at Home but not really recognise it as the Home ground you're used to.

After what happened with Percival last night and the proven kicker in Gale landing all his one of my main concerns was Watkins going up against Sneyd at conversions.

I think he's become a real leader within this current group. He doesn't get given the ball in attacking positions enough, but he is great returning the the ball from our own line, and he makes 30 tackles a game. Superb player and a great bloke.

It was like watching a game at belle vue.
