I will add Garbutt looks trimmed down & played well.
Still alot of work to be done though & i may be alone in thinking that Delaney just looks shot despite not having more bandages than Tatts for the 1st time in 3yrs.
I do hope we show the same defensive aggression & attitude now it was much better.

Didn't go personally, but son and dad went and came back drooling about Golding, saying he looked outstanding. Also said Burrow looked very good, with Moon and Garbutt. Said defensively we were very good, altjough made mistakes to put pressure on in defence.

Golding read the game very well & was very quick across the defence covering kicks & saved at least 2 trys.

Golding, Burrow, Ablett, JJB, parcell, McGuire and Garbutt the shining lights for me.

Ryan Hall has been an incredible servant for leeds, one thing though, the way he's always been dragged in field flapping his arms in D has always frustrated, did it again last night, hold your shape lad and trust your inside

not sure what happened at the end. hooter at 40 mins. no hooter at 80 mins and ref kept looking at his watch. eventually blew for time after about 82 minutes with no hooter. very odd

Some promising performances from some pretty keen players were on show last night imo

golding had a cracking game and certainly looks like he has put some much needed bulk on this pre season and without losing his pace
burrow was like a reincarnation,he showed skills we have always wanted him to show in directing the side around the field (where did he pick this skill set up from?)
i was impressed by parcell's first game,he will be a good signing for us and will cause tired defences problems this year,he didn't go for the big plays but he definately looked like a player that was in control
jjb and abbo both rolled back the clock and ran some good lines and were tough in defense

my only concern is magsy,has he got the body to go with what his mind is thinking and will it still stand up to the rigours of week to week footy?

I think one poster said that I thought we played well held you for long periods you punished our mistakes as a good side does which is what you are so don't get to over excited making out we all can't believe we lost you beat us but it wasn't the absolute hammering you suggested it was was it now

it was tight upto half time/ you hardly got out of your half in the second period. 34-4 and you not scoring in the second half, or even looking like scoring, makes it a dominant win.

30-4 says a comfortable win in the end like I said not the absolute hammering you suggest
