What is this overwhelming evidence I keep hearing mentioned? It's pretty much "well that's McDermott's view so it's gotta be correct"......which would quite frankly open the floodgates on here most post matches. If you read through this thread then no one else who went actually says much about Ward's performance.....two that I saw wrote....

.........McDermott says McGuire was outstanding which is direct opposite to Gotcha's view of a very poor performance from him.

On the previous page you'll also see two quotes from two posters who attended who downplay Ward's performance.

See I have tried twice to leave it be but others have kept popping it up again. And I wouldn't mind if the offence levelled against me was accurate.....basically the accusation that my opinion is better from radio commentary than someone who attended....but if people actually read the original posts they'll see I never said that at all.

It made me chuckle when I read that. Of all the people on the board you are probably the two who have had the most run ins. Probably closely followed by you and Sal. Then you and someone else. In fact if I hired you as a bodyguard I'd be worried about being done over on an inside job
