| Dont we all, I aspire to be like Jim Caldwell, or even better Jamarcus Russell or Bill Parcells, who got paid to screw people over.
speaking of the ravens and the Colts, I reckon the Ravens Could be an Ideal landing spot for manning, with him at the helm they'd win the Super Bowl

| I'v heard two rumours one that Manning is going to the Jesters which would make our match-ups with them more interesting and one that Manning and Jeff Saturday are going to the Redskins.

| for the jets one to happen, and I hope for mthe dolphins and bills sakes it does not, Fat Rex would have to go their is no way those 2 could co exist, plus Ryan has tied his fate to that of the worst QB in the AFC East Mark Sanchez, and he will sink or swim with that desicion.
I could see this happening. Shanny put his repm on the line with grossman and Beck and that didnt work out, simmilairily with the ravens, you stick manning in the skins team and you have a contender, at least for a couple of years. The sticking point however is their position in the draft, they are likley to get RG3 and Shanny has a history of making quarterbacks.
What is your take on Matt Flynn, personally I think he's an average QB playing in a great team/system same as Cassell was. Flynn is no better than Moore, Fitzpatrick or even Grossman

| No idea about Flynn really, like you say he is in a good team so the only way we will see is when he is starting next year for whoever takes the chance on him. He will be getting well overpaid no doubt for whoever get's him off the back of only 2 games, and 1 was against our D last year

| Joe Philbin is the new Miami coach, might be the fresh start he needs after the death of his son.
Good luck to him

| Me too I never seem to have the money, I'm not missing another Patriots game though!
This deal pretty much runs until the Rams lease on their stadium expires so I can see them moving back to L.A unless another team gets in there first. Giving up a home game for the next 3 years seems like they are giving up on St Louis IMO.
The bloke who owns them is the majority shareholder(and I think looking to buy) Arsenal, so I guess he may be trying to make some kind of link with both sets of fans?

| Philbin is the right sort of coach, a good offensive mind and a youngish hungry coach. This is a fresh start for both him and Miami. Onwards and upwards.
We probably now have the inside track on flynn, but another QB we could look at getting cheaply ia trade is TJ Yates? done pretty well this year.
However I;d rather stick with Moore, giving up money and/or picks for a QB whos done well in a few games is a risky buissness. AJ Feely Kevin Kolb etc...on the other hand we could gey a schaub or Hasselbeck

Flynn is out of contract and the Packers more than likely won't franchise him because they have other players like the TE Finley they may need to use it on, Flynn has only started 2 maybe 3 games and played well in them(albeit 1 against our pish poor D last year...) he impressed me against the Lions this year but he had a lot of offensive tools to help him in Green Bay not to mention a good mentor at QB, he will be one of the best free agent QB's around IMO and you should snap him up if you can. He is still only 26 so can be a good player for 10 years plus if he works out, if he doesn't what have you lost really?

| Well done NE a huge effort on D in the last quarter and tbh i thought the Ravens last TD was out of bounds by his heel.

| We were outplayed for most of the game but we got the luck at the end with the Sterling Moore strip in the endzone and the shanked kick.
Need to improve a heck of a lot no matter who we play in the SB, I dont think Brady will play that 'badly' with 2 weeks to prepare. I thought the Ravens played well especially Flacco, it was a little annoying when we couldnt stop them on 3rd down in the 2nd half and I thought all the missed tackles were going to cost us the game but overall the Defense stepped up big time again!
Just goes to show even as the 31st ranked D it doesn't mean a thing aslong as you outscore your opponent!
The interception by the Ravens where it was flicked back to to his team-mate was the best I have ever seen aswell!

He's busy celebrating Rex sweeping Eli and the Gnats and getting ready to cheer on the Patriots in two weeks time.

Not too bad.
FWIW, I think Shannahan ripped the guts out of the team when he benched Rex and went with Beck. In a weak NFC East we swept you and lost two to the Cowboys by a combined 5 points. Rex is a turnover machine and not the answer but he can play. Beck was gutless.
Anyhoo, I'd be worried if I were you. Things are in place. Once we trade up and get RG3 we'll be walking the division.
We're headed in the right direction and are a decent young team that is finally building through the draft. I'm optimistic.
If my optimism is misplaced the Super League season is around the corner and my team are champs at that anyway.

I do not understand how it's possible to 'hate' any pro sports team from a foreign country. Even my In-laws who are typical Chicagoans and die hard Bears supporters do not loathe the Packers to such a degree. They do not care for them at all but 'hate' would be going too far. Even the vast majority of players do not carry such animus towards their opponents.
