I know there`s a few weeks to go yet.
I get the fact we need to ship out players we don`t need and I get it we need to establish if the likes of Gnonto, Summerville and Rutter are staying/leaving and that will determine who we go after.
But I do wish we could bring in one or two decent signings to calm the nerves.
We need to hit the ground running this year and hopefully have some idea what we are going to look like before the season kicks off and not towards the end of the window which almost seems the done thing.

Yeah agree mate. i'd like to see some incomings shortly. they need a good pre season ideally. I know it's tricky and championship recruitment can start with Prem League snowball effect first.. need to get some positivity going

Whilst the season isn`t won in August it can go a long way to determining confidence and belief.
I`ve heard some foreign clubs are interested in Bamford at 10 million.
I would like us to sign Moore from Bournemouth even on loan and get in Roberts.
The Welsh Whites would have a decent 5 a side team!

Personally, I don't think Roberts is all that. I'd prefer van Ewijk from Coventry.

Interesting, Graham Smyth on his podcast this morning saying he's not aware of it being immanent, far from it, but he does admit the club are not giving anything away, he expects Parker to weigh the squad up first before letting Roberts go. Personally i think Roberts is a great fit for Leeds. He was one of the best RB's in the champ when Burnley got promoted a couple of seasons back, he came to leeds undercooked last year and got an injury, but i thought he looked very handy when fit. He also links well with James, Rodon in particular with being in Wales first 11, and then also Ampadu.

Smyth expects Leeds to bring in at least a couple in next two weeks though, he thinks Farke will be chomping at the bit to get players in ahead of Germany tour. Thinks we need 5 or 6 does Graham.

RB, x2 back up CBs, back up CM, back up winger, assuming Wöber leaves is what we need at a minimum. If others do leave, they'll need to be replaced as well

I too thought Roberts fit in well and had the experience and a bit of dirtiness in his game which I like.
O`Hare at Coventry would be a good signing imo.
My first impressions of Moore was that he was a lazy player.
But was impressed how he played for Ipswich and put a lot of effort in and not only scored goals in a limited time.

Yeah he pretty much said that but with regards to CM, feels we need more attacking threat than what we have, someone in the Klich mould. He thinks we will want a 9 too as it appears Bamfords injury is still ongoing... Joseph will get a lot more game time but it's a gamble on one so young if he's our main 9. He thinks we want options at 10 also, but doesn't think O'hare from Cov is on the radar yet which is a surprise given he's on a free.

we only really play with 2 midfielders so I guess we may see another loan in.cant see crew being first team ready

Seems Kamara has gone for 8.4 million which is a lot less than I think he`s worth.

Interesting one this. He doesn’t offer enough going forwards and isn’t the best option defensively, Gruev and Ampadu are better at that. Good squad player but I wonder if they see a decent profit and can replace with better for no extra money. Farke will have had the say so on this I’m certain as we don’t need the money.
