Well I highly rate garbutt. I don't rate mullally, I don't rate Walters, ormandroyd is an unknown. So as I said, potentially a game changer, yes. However looks like it won't be.
On another note, I've liked a few kicks McGuire's put in. I still think he has a touch of class that can be useful this season. Just as long as he stays injury free.

Dreadful first 8/9 minutes. Good decision not to wait another several minutes to bring Cuthbertson who has very good. Good period after that when we scored the two tries before it settled down a bit.
Parcell good, Burrow and Sutcliffe have been good as runners. Hall and Keinhorst have run strong on that side. Holding ok at the back but would like to see him involved more in the final 20m. Briscoe was poor for that opening try and it was a carbon copy of one against him on Boxing Day. McGuire put in a couple of sensible kicks near the end of the half.

I agree on the ref. Also missed the extremely late tackle on Burrow, and the forward pass before Leigh's first try. |

With all the penalties Leigh gave us and the sinbinning we should be in control. Instead our inability to do anything on T5 has once again hampered us.
How did we not sign the HB we need or at least keep Lilley as an option while Mags was regaining fitness?.

From a positive thought the back row looked solid tonight and cuthbertson looked more like his old self ( I know some gave them stick last week)
The big problem for me is no creativity in attack and absolutely no leadership. From last year defence looks better attack is poor. We have no quality pivots no leaders, a typical McDermott team workmanlike

Rhinos Upset Centurions for First Season WinTwo sides looking for their first points of Super League 2017 were thrown together at Leigh Sports Village in this round eleven, brought forward, fixture as the Centurions welcomed the Leeds Rhinos for their first home game back on the top flight.
Leigh made a handful of changes to the side that were beaten at Castleford last weekend, most notably losing the services of stand-off Martyn Ridyard.
The Rhinos also made changes which included Mitch Garbutt being ruled out through illness after arriving in Leigh and being replaced by Anthony Mullally in the front row, with Josh Walters on the bench. The Rhinos side would be bouyed by the return of skipper Danny McGuire who would start from the bench.

A lot of players low on confidence with no game plan to either have faith in nor impliment.
Subs again a mystery but seems easier to single out players when the bigger problems are off the pitch imo. |
