Always liked Keinhorst....he has a lot of character, effort and a great pass/skills in him. I hope the club rewards him with a proper pre-season effort to build him to a classy second rower playing inside Watkins. Walters has taken a lot of criticism but what will we remember most about him from hereon?

When Saints went for a penalty in 2011 when they had us on the ropes I remember thinking "thank you" because it gave us a chance to regroup.
I felt the same when Wigan went for two points tonight.
They kicked that goal in the 61st minute. Leeds haven't conceded a single point after that minute in ANY of their seven GF wins, what an effort to do that in the final game of the year.

Agree Keinhorst has a future ahead of him at Leeds IMO.
As for Walters, he might not make it at Leeds long term.......but he'll always be the guy who scored the winning try to clinch the treble.....their's worst claims to fame

You're right....I too was surprised and pleased they went for 2. Leeds were out on their feet and it was the breather they needed. IF Wigan had gone out for a try they would have probably scored it winning the GF. 20-16 meant we were just that one glorious try and conversion away from snatching it

| Great team performance and all played their part but special mention for Maguire (deserved MOM) Burrow who played a key role at acting half and Garbutt who was immense once again. Singleton put in a strong defensive stint and our backs regained their edge once more.

YOU have got no excuse for misnaming our HS award winner......or do you prefer 'Burrows' too
I also enjoyed Clubb's kick tonight

Even if wigan had gone for the try, and converted it which are 2 big if's even though we were looking tired we'd have still only been 8 points down with just under 20 mins to go. As ominous as it would have looked for us at that stage, you still couldn't have ruled us out of knicking a try back within 10 minutes, then having one big final push late on only 2 down.

Agree. Would mention Briscoe too. Superb relieving runs and some key momentum-giving offloads.

| Last September we got dumped out of the playoffs by the Catalans. I remember being stood on the South Stand thinking "Where do we go from here?"
Fast forward 13 months and we have achieved something crazy
It's been an honour tonight to see [ithe[/i hardest working RL side I've ever seen
Tonight I feel very emotional

Well done guys. I'm happy for Sinfeild and Peacock. With the players leaving BMC will need to be working a lot this winter or are the replacements a done deal already?

When we won the cup last year I was overjoyed because I ought their was nothing else this era/group could do. When Sinfield & Peacock announce their departures I thought it was a fitting time because they've achieved everything they could do.....
......low and behold they found two more things to accomplish. A treble and a final victory over Wigan.
Make the biggest statues ever seen of those guys!!!
I know it'd be more of a 'career' nomination (hell Ryan Giggs won off one) but we should see Sinfield & Peacock jointly nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year. They wouldn't win because of RL's lesser public eye interest but it'd be a deserved nod to RL and those two men.

| Tonight was very very special indeed. We need to enjoy every moment of this, we may never see something come together in such a way as we have done this year again .
Special mention has to go to Aiton, JJB, Sutcliffe and Ward. Did feel for those guys at the end, but that's sport I guess.
Does anyone have a list of all Sinfield's career achievements? I'd love to see it all together in one list.
7 grand finals
2 challenge cups
2 league leaders?
3 WCC
1 four nations (2012? Captained England vs Wales,France,Scotland?)
MBE
golden boot
Harry Sunderland x2?
Lance Toddx2?
3rd all time points scorer
Most capped player in SL
I can't be far off with those ?

It's 3 LLS and only 1 Lance Todd trophy. The 2012 England thing was only a Tri-nations thing with Wales and France too.
Either way....not too shabby

Remarkable that his one Lance Todd came in defeat as well, in 2005.
Can add all-time leader for points and goals for the club; all-time leader for appearances, points and goals in Super League too. While his SL appearance record might go before not too long, his other records will stand for a very, very long time.
Such a privilege to be there to see that unfold tonight - we truly have been spoilt by this team of legends and emerging heroes. Didn't want to leave the stadium to be honest, and I didn't before I had seen every player go down the tunnel. The image of JP disappearing into the dressing room with the SL trophy under his arm, with a massive grin on his face will stay with me forever.

Yep, even though my more football interested friends wanted to leave, insisting that "we've seen them walk past with the trophy" I insisted on staying until the guys walked off the pitch and down the tunnel. Wanted to saviour every single moment of Sinfield, Peacock and Leuluai in a Leeds shirt that I could.

| Many a tear was shed at FT and it will again when HQ says its farewells v the Kiwis there aren't enough fitting superlatives to describe Sinfield and JP i genuinely believe along with Burrow and Mcguire they go above "Legendry" status if there is such a thing i call them immortals because it's all i can think of.
Kevin Sinfield is the Clubs greatest ever that's it imo Captain ,Player ,Kicker ,Leader etc etc and JP is as has been described our Greatest ever signing and to think we got him for nowt as well!!
Kylie has been a tremendous servant to the Club and rightly one of our Legends and all time greats.
I can't thank them or their team mates over the years enough that also goes for the Coaches and staff at HQ what a Club we've seen being built after so many false dawns in the 80's and early 90's it really is an amazing feeling to be a Rhino.

Great ending to the careers of Sinfield and JP and of course, Brian Mac who'll probably go on forever.
Going back to my darkened room to lie down..

| I thought it was very fitting when Brian McDermott stood with all the board members including GH & Paul Caddick at the end of the game - sadly, I didn't see Harry Jepson holding the Superleague trophy & relishing the moment.
We are quick to criticise the off field guys but without them - particularly Hetherington & Caddick - would we even have had a team that's brought us so much pleasure over the past decade?
Something GH predicted back at the turn of the century.
Thanks for everything.
