Muizz is currently the strongest player at the club, he lifts more than anyone I'm told. His problem is that he is too strong for the 19s and can throw them around like rag dolls which is fun to watch however when it goes wrong it can be dangerous. The tackle at Wigan that he got binned for wasnt pretty. He had a major problem last year with similar offences and kept getting carded.

He plays the game violently in attack and defence. He hits hard and runs as hard as he can. The kid is really good to watch.

Yes never seen him back off anything on the field. He has time to develop. The kind of player you want in your team and a PITA for opposition.

Cory Johnson named in the Fev squad.

Alex Sutcliffe's defence at Fev has been out of this world. He was outstanding against Anthony Gelling last week (to the extent that Widnes moved Gelling to the other side of the field in the closing stages).

Attack-wise, I'd be much more doubtful about him making it as a SL centre. He runs hard and straight and gives his all, but he's a bit one-dimensional in that respect and if he is going to make it at SL level it's probably as a back row when he fills out. He might just end up as a "tweener" size-wise.

There's nothing wrong with his bottle either. He took a big hit at Sheffield two weeks ago and threw up on the pitch, but was back in the defensive line on the next play. Then against Widnes he slid head-first into the advertising hoarding when scoring a try from a kick through, but again didn't miss a play.

Good result away to an in form Wakey team. 8 first years in the 17 and 8 rep players missing.

Thought Brad Martin and Sam Walters were very good in the backrow.

Been watching this one today, and quite simply, Walters is so far ahead of anyone else on the pitch it is unreal, simply miles better than anyone else. Whether that is him as a superstar or the rest just rubbish, time will tell. But as for us as a club, I would have this lad immediately working with the first team.

I thought Tindall looked good too.

Newcastle look to have some good athletes, but their basic skills are awful.

Walters is very good. Needs to fill out a bit but that will come over next 18 months.

Was a young team out today missing a few senior heads and opposition wasnt great but a solid win. Game time for some lads who have not played much recently.

Have to say Corey Johnson is starting to look bigger and stronger which he needs to do to make the step up. Quality kid.
