Should be a good do Marty. Meeting a couple of Wigan lads who are flying down to Melbourne to support Leeds, and digging with us for a couple of days. I’ll meet you for a few beers at the game, then back to ours in South Yarra for a barbi and hot tub pi$$ up....it’s a free for all

For anyone not able to attend the game, the club are looking at having the game on at Headingley due to interest in the World Cup Final. Considering putting the game on in the long bar as it’s bigger than the Carnegie bar.

Will be curious to see if there any fan events in Melbourne - would be good to catch an open training session or the like.

Think they mentiined it for fans on official trip but they are unlikelt to turn any fans away.

I can't wait to be there but I have to be honest I'm dreading the flight over. Going to be a nightmare I think. Once there it should be fab. I've booked MCG tour, National Sport Museum tour, a cruise, Eureka skytower and city tours so well prepared already. Melbourne Victory FC play a South Korean team on the 13th so might take that in too.

Week after we go to Widnes so quite a come down from Melbourne!!

Chloes bar is well worth a visit. We've used it as a meeting up point before.

Would avoid the footy game if I were you unless there is a player you particularly wanna see. Went to see an MLS game (imagine A-League will be similar) and all it boils down to in the end is a poor standard football match.

The 'A' in A-League is even less applicable than the 'Super' in SL.

I fly on 10th arriving in Melbourne (very tired) at 6am Monday. Can't wait now.

Fly on the 12th, arrive in Melbourne at 23.00 on Tuesday. Quick dash to South Yarra to drop our bags, then back to the airport to catch a 6am flight to Sydney for a day out. Sleeping is cheating I guess!

Yeah I'm off to Sydney on the Thursday. 6am flight and back to Melbourne 10.30pm. A full day of seeing sights should b good.
