Eastwood actually qualifies for a british passport so i think he would count as Federation trained but like the old "overseas quota" rules this one seems to have as many holes as a T-bag.

story isn't up yet from what i can see, but today's YEP mention he has missed three games in three years at the titans, and had a 100% appearance record this season (prior to weekend strain) for the club currently 3rd on the NRL 'ladder'

Interesting point. But IMO this messageboard is generally more interesting when things aren't going well. Amidst the knee-jerking scapegoaters the quality of posts has improved IMO in recent weeks.

The real decline in the messageboard happened in the 2004 season - being a Leeds fan hasn't been the same since the team has got the championship silver monkey off its back. Generally this has brought in more fekkwit supporters expecting silverware to be the norm.

I'm more than happy that a 23 year old who plays for a competitive NRL team is heading our way.

Average in OZ should equate easily into above average in Super League

Now if I can just figure out why we are referring to Soprano as TP we can get back on track.

The club have obviously signed more than 3 Academy players. There is 17 in a team for each Academy game each year and as players get older and move up a level they will need to be replaced.

So I'd guess the club have signed about 10 players for next year's Academy. Maybe even more on scholarship schemes.
