My big worry is even if we get Luck it wont be enough to turn this team around.

We were meant to have a great defense, Dansby Solia and "The Best CB duo in the NFL" have all been crap.

On offense we have Marshall who is not producing, Bess, although he is the 2nd best slot reciever in the league he is just a slot reciever. Long who is killing himself for this team and rookies like Pouncey and Thomas, the latter cant keep fit.

Our O-line, especially columbo and Carey on the right are amongst the worst in the league.

We have too many holes to fill on both sides of the ball.

Putting Luck behind that line without a supporting cast could destroy his confidence and our chance amt a franchise QB like it did David Carr.

So not only would we need to draft Luck the rest of the draft will have to be good aswell

Best thing the Dolphins could do is deal their way out of the first round and use a collection of picks to fill the numerous gaps they have. Picking the best QB coming out of college isn't going to count for squat if your defence can't get the opposition off the field, if he's got no weapons to throw to or your line keeps leaving him like a sitting duck to the opposition pass rush.

Good to see the Falcons finally returning to something like a sensible offensive gameplan this week. We're not going to be successful asking Ryan to throw 40 times a game. Credit to Brian van Gorder for being a little more aggressive with his playcalling for the defense. The extra pressure we were able to bring on Newton created incompletions and turnovers.

Oakland have to win a superbowl in the next year or two as they have mortgaged their entire 2012 draft on this team. They have no picks left whatsoever.

They have, two two's is nothing short of extortion, in preseason he might have been coming to the dolphins and a 3rd was considered about right. They've overpaid for someone who for the last couple of seasons has been average at best.

The problem with that is the Raiders dont have the talent to even get to the SB in the next couple of years IMO

They'll have an average QB a good running back and some promising young recievers thats it. They lost their two best players in the offseason

I agree plugging Luck in this team will do nothing but get him beat up and maybe end up like David Carr. We could trade down to fill our wholes, or conversley we could get the QB the fanbase desperately want and need to prevent a mutiny and then do whatever we can to get back in the first round to get a RG or RT which is next highest need. The defense I am hopeful can recover its form and needs less new additions as it is still pretty young.

Newton was still impressive and that play by the Defensive Tackle? for a one handed interception was a fluke. Falcons looked good though

Miami now 0-5 and I feel sorry for TS he took us from 1-15 to 11-5 and now some of the players seem to have given up on him.

But still here's my shopping list for next year,either through the draft or free agency as I think if we get a new GM and Coach Boss Ross will be willing to spend big
1 A FRANCHISE QB maybe luck but it has to be in the 1st round and it has to be someone we can build around.
2 A RT. Columbo is the worst linemen I have ever seen. Needs a replacement fast. Prefer the drafy. Long Incognito Pouncey Carey franchise RT and we are set.
3.A tight end that is a threat in the passing game, vital for a young QB look at the Panthers they went and got Newton Shockey and Olsen, we cant leave our new QB with Anthony Fasano
4 CB so we can move smith to FS and Jones to hisproper position of SS
5 MLB Beg channing crowder out of retirement he loves the fins and we were better with him, his numbers werent great but he read the offfense and made all the calls, Hated on for personality and so called lack of productivity but fin thru and thru.

Reminds me of TMFMISL. Crowder could be TMFMINFL.



6A deep threat WR Marshall is a great go to guy. Bess is great in the Slot hartline is a good all rounder none are explosive, goget someone like that

I'm a huge Brandon Marshall fan and would have loved him at the Patriots(still would) but he has had a hell of a lot of dropped passes in the last 3 years, think they said on MNF it was 58(?).

That does seem a lot but bear in mind he had injuries and has not been completely there last year.

With Brady throwing he would be at his best again, the last couple of years he's had shall we say inconsistant QB play.

The problem this year isnt the amount (although its not ideal) but the facts the drops have come in the endzone.

He hasn't been thrown to much because he hasn't been on the field much TBH , partly because he doesn't seem to be learning the playbook and running the wrong routes(caused a couple of INT's) and partly because we haven't needed him TBH with Welker having another career year and Hernandez, Gronk and Branch. He also had a massive dropped TD pass against the Bills that cost us the game in the end so I think there is a bit of a trust issue.

I wouldn't have been suprised if we had of traded/released him yesterday TBH, hope he can contribute the rest of the season or he will be gone IMO, shame really if he does because I think he could do well for us once he get's going!

Chad is a deep threat, Mrs Brady loves little 5-10 dink passes downfield.

He can't catch 10 yard passes and when Brady has thrown bombs to him he has dropped everyone! Including a certain TD that would have put us out of reach against the Bills.

Basically to put it more bluntly, if he was a rookie who was drafted in a later round he would have been binned by now because he has been poop but because it's him we are giving him a chance.

I have heard the other day there was a rumor that Marino might be trying to buy the Fins. not sure if it is a good or bad thing. BUT WE Need to get rid of the celebrity owners, it's all for show anyway i like FERGIE but she she dont know the fins ( she is from LA FFS ). Kind of like the in thing like all of them adopting kids from Africa or China so gp back there and do it. They need to stay in their fantasy world of Hollywood. These are the same buffoons that let Welker get traded and to a division rival at that. What a huge mistake that was. I watched him juke his head and fake some defenders right out of their shorts, then they trade him and proved I was right about that being a mistake. Would have been cool to see him and Bess running around out there together.


Coach - If they go for one, should be Cowher. Can't stand smug, arrogant looking Gruden, he's overrated anyway and he has signed a new TV contract.


QB - I think they might have been fine with Henne and Moore if they stayed healthy. Some players take a little longer to develope than others but not this long. But since this is about new blood, they should be wary of all the hype surrounding Luck. You didn't see all this hype about Marino and look what he did. I think I would rather they take their chances and go for Kellen Moore from Boise State. Strong arm, accurate and not a product of the system because BSU does run the ball. I just really don't want to see a situation here like the Ryan Leaf in San Diego or Jamarcus Russell in Oakland. but we will get a high pick and lets get it right.


I've been a Dolphins fan since forever. All the Marino years ( i am greedy) and yes even when things look bleak like this year. They will always be my team and should always stay in Miami. I will root for other teams like it's nice seeing Detroit doing well or Buffalo with Fitzpatrick since they were saying he wasn't any good, yet they hadn't really given him a chance. Now that he has a little more going on, look how he is doing, Henne could have been the same way but got hurt. The ultimate would be Aaron Rodgers coming to Miami, but we all know that will never happen. The only thing better than that would be that Marino just got here. This franchise has claim to the greatest coach ever in Don Shula, the greatest pure passing QB in Dan Marino, the greatest FB to ever play in Larry Csonka and the greatest team ever to take the field in the 72 Fins. People can argue about the 85 Bears or recent Patriots teams but the 72 Fins did what these others did not and that was find a way to win every game.
