What is is role exactly? he isn't head of development so maybe he just doing the coaching side of things and building up some experience, as opposed to actually being in charge of developing their skill sets.

As for those worried about backs coaching, in a year or two we will have McGuire (who has said before he wants to work with young halfbacks), and Burrow (who already coaches the under 16s I believe), who could hopefully become full time members of the coaching staff.

I know some will complain about jobs for the boys, but I think it was clearly a mistake letting Sinfield and Peacock leave the club and we shouldn't make the same mistake with another 2 of Leeds best ever players.

Since when did how and what position someone play determine how well someone will be as a coach? History is littered with great players who bombed as coaches and little known players succeeding as coaches.
