Good 1st 40, toughed it out at the start but defended well, out muscled them. Should be a good 2nd half.

Good performance so far. McGuire having his best game for ages, and we're beating them up front, with Singleton immense. Not bad without Garbutt, Galloway and Ablett. Still think we'll lose, mind.

But yet missed a couple of decisions, and got two wrong that his touch judge has corrected him on.

Definitely not criticising the touch judge, and love to see them have input, but still wouldn't praise Bentham either who has misssed quite a bit, although I agree game glowing. The reefed ball on Briscoe in front of our sticks, then three tackles later us reefing them going over line, right in front of a Bentham each one.

Wonder what this forum would have been like if it was Briscoe not Handley who made an unforced error at the play the ball to change the momentum of the game to give Cas the opening for their try.

I thought we were good in the first half but as expected without Garbutt and Galloway we didnt have the punch off the bench to see it through.Moors made a huge difference for Cas.just dont capitulate now.

theyve scored 3 tries, including one from a poor knock on and one from an easy kick interception - hardly blowing us out of the water imho
as for too big too big and too strong - we easily handled their forwards in the first half, pity we've a few injuries there or we might be doing better

As for Handley, Mac flung him in for Briscoe against Cas away and now puts him on off the bench against Cas here. The lad hasn't covered himself in glory but baffling why you not want your supposed 2nd best winger in there against the most expansive team in the league. Bit of a hiding to nothing really.

First half controlled and had the momentum. Second half is equally as embarrassing as down at Cas. utterly horrendous display. Such an inspirational coach at half time, not sure how it happens.

They're a good side, and show them a weakness and they'll hake advantage of it. We showed them one on our right wing at half time and they've attacked it ruthlessly. After that it's catch-up and weaknesses appear everywhere.

Too big and too strong for us? No. Too dumb in the coach's box? Yes. As I type, their left winger scores his third try since our right winger was substituted.

Shocking opening twenty, handley is dire all over the plac in defence, and the rest of the team are still in dressing room.

They have destroyed us on our right hand side the last four matches, and it started from the first minute today, not half time. One coach uses it, and the other can't fix it.

Our right winger was scared of catching every high kick - what would you want him to do?

Yeah, he fixed that. Now they don't have to kick it, they can just run and get a guaranteed result.

Problem is Briscoe is way out of form and sub Handley has always had a suspect defence. But for some that means it's the fault of the coach's half time team talk. Now doubt he told Watkins and Handley to keep dropping the ball too.
