I thought we did Ok without Sinfield earlier this season, or was it my imagination? From what I've sen if you go back to two halfbacks rather than however many Leeds seem to want to put on the field (up to 4 at the same time), then I don't have a problem with Sutlcliffe and McGuire being given the role to start with. It takes time to learn how to control a game, but the only place to do it is on the field, not on the bench watching an NRL never-was running around.

I just see zero point in signing a substandard NRL half for next year.

I completely agree. At the start of the season Kev wasn't playing that well and the Sutcliffe McGuire partnership looked to be blossoming. Its only since Kev said he's leaving that he's really kicked on. Yeah we'll miss Kev's goal kicking but show some faith and Sutcliffe and Hardaker and get a specialist coach in. Theuve both got potential to be good kickers but probably need to fine tune their techniques...after all, Kev wasn't the greatest to start with but worked hard to improve.

Also, Zak has a massive kick on him so using him as a clearing kicker could cover that area.

When a legend leaves its hard to replace them with like-for-like. We saw it when Harris went. Instead, you look at how others can step up and fill roles.

If much rather see Sutcliffe and Lilley given goes, and maybe Golding to see how he does there. We've seen Warrington and Wigan give their young halves a go and whilst they might be consistent yet, the exposure to SL will make them better in the long run

What a load of $hit. There is no way we were gonna pay £500 grand a year for Moa! His Agent is dreaming.

$1million dollar deal doesn't mean per year...could be for 2 or 3 years. But agree sounds like agent talk. Moa is OK but isn't worth marquee player status.

The only way that 1m figure is true is if it was a 4 or 5 year deal. In fact a 4 year deal of a salary of approx £100/110k then plus some extras would get close to the million dollar figure and would sound about right.

But there's no way it would be as a marquee signing. That's just a flat out lie.

I was today given a little 'teaser' of info from a contact of mine within the club. He tells me the club have already made a TOP TOP signing that will be announced at a later date - the tone and inference was that this is a world class player! Said player is going to be on mega money, but will not be counted as our 'marquee' player, as there will be room in our cap to accommodate without using this - I'm led to believe it is an NRL based player as the talk was that the current exchange rate and costs of living puts us in a strong position and we have plenty of money to spend as a result of JP, Sinfield and Kylie leaving. The 'marquee' allowance will be saved for if another player such as a Sam Burgess were to become available.

I know some will scoff at this as heresay and BS, however I've no reason to doubt my contact.
