Never! Whereabouts?

I used to drink in the Witch or the Black Lion, or occasionaly out at the Tanners in Staplefield.

I tried to find it but it must have fallen off the edge of the boards somewhere as the threads only go back to 2009 now

Nah, thats the Victory which is next to the village green and nearest to the cricket. Tanners is a bit further up, but not a million miles away.

Several pubs called the Witch? There's only one Witch Inn, about a mile or so from the station, near the Golf Club.

Witch in Lindfield? The is a Witch, Red Lion, White Horse, Stand Up Inn (used to be called the Linden Tree) and Bent Arms. Haywards Heath has The Star, The Burrell and The Dolphin plus a few others in the chav areas. We sometimes do a pub crawl - Star, Burrell, Witch, White Horse, Red Lion, Bent Arms, Stand Up, home (and lock in at my local The Green Man if we are lucky). It is about a 7 mile pubcrawl.

The Green Man at Horsted Heath is only a couple of miles at the most from the Witch. Kinda odd that someone who claims to go on local pub crawls wouldn't know that!

Horsted Keynes, not Horsted Heath. Yeah I know the Witch, just didn't know the Black Lion (there is the Red Lion though) so thought maybe it was in a village somewhere nearby I didn't know!!!

The Crown burned down in 2003 after it was struck by lightning, only reopened a year ago and it is . Trying to be a gastropub rather than a locals pub but their chefs are rubbish. Really prententious wordy menu that just doesn't deliver and the owner is an evil man with seriously dodgy money.

We still get the Bluebell Railway lot in but not as often as they used to. When did you last go in?

It is a tiny little village in mid Sussex, I am quite frankly amazed anyone on a rugby league forum has even heard of it, let alone been there!!!
