Angela posted that before Burrow's appearance on FiveLive. His leg will have been strapped and braced as a precaution, surely, prior to scan. He is also likely to be in pain. Not much of an indicator of significance, just tolerance level.

All mere conjecture but Burrow seemed pretty "happy" it wasn't season ending.

He's back next week.

Awful if true. Its a d!ck of an injury! I tore mine in March and had surgery on it last Monday, another 6 months till I can play again. Its wierd though as after the initial pain it subsides and they thought mine was only a slight tear in one of the lesser ligaments, turns out it wasn't.

Unfortunate for the lad, form of his life!
