| Quote ="chapylad"And now for the 32nd time our game against QPR away has been chosen for live coverage on a Friday night at 8pm.
Despite all the moans about Sky moving our fixtures they continue to do it.
So a 10 pm finish getting home for the fans early hours of the morning.
If I`m not mistaken we play Middlesboro on the Monday and 4 days later QPR .
Leicester's penultimate game is on the following Monday, Ipswich play on the Saturday.'"
Agree with you, unfortunately this is a result of Leeds being a big box office success. They have a huge following in this country and across Europe.
The advertisement industry love Leeds , which obviously makes the sky people happy. Not forgetting the Leeds side has some charismatic players combined with a calm and collected manager.

Same here, from a neutral point of view it’s enthralling watching the top three battle it out. Who is going to blink first. Bit stressful if you are a Leeds fan.

| We’ve been on an incredible run. Had to end sometime. Back to back home games now and Leicester Ipswich have the tougher fixtures. They have to go to Coventry and Hull. Time to move on quickly. I’d start Joseph on Tuesday. Still think one or two were not fully fit today..

| Don`t think we`ve been at it for the last 3 games and unfortunately the Internationals came at the wrong time for us.
Ipswich were poor today and like what`s been said a missed opportunity to make a statement.
Rutter first half was well below par, Bamford terrible and even Summerville was off most of the game.
Probably need to win all our games now and no reason why we shouldn`t if we get back to form.
Maybe we are better chasing than sitting at the top of the league.

| Tough game it was Coventry's cup final after all!!
Nothing to do with Leeds being very poor on the day. The international break has done them no favours.

| For me we are lacking that aggression up front.
We are great at the flicks, the tipsy topsy fairy stuff in the box.
But when it comes to the selfish head down and put your laces through it we shy away.
A top striker goes with any foot he thinks will get him a goal.
They don`t wait for it to come on their favoured foot.
Bamford has missed to tap ins by wanting to score with his left instead of his right.
He should be scoring those goals with his dick never mind his preferred foot.
Jamie Vardy for instance uses his footballing brain to get a goal.
Rutter`s another one who creates plenty but needs to be a bit more selfish and go it alone sometimes.
Not sure I`ve articulated it well enough but I know what I mean ![Confused icon_confused.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_confused.gif)

Ha! Agree mate. Bamford is streaky and can look good at times but he’s not a natural goal scorer. He’s not aggressive enough. I like the look of young Joseph, strong quick and has some aggression. Could develop into a very handy striker. If Rutter wants to make it at the very top level he needs to keep possession a bit better and improve his goal scoring. But the lad is only young and has big potential imo

Some idiot suggested that playing Leeds teams raise their game - perhaps it that Leeds are on occasions - like Saturday just below par and other teams just play at their normal standard. Hull/Coventry/Watford didn't raise their game, Leeds were just poor in all three games. Shame some "experts" can face reality.

Not looking forward to Cooper playing at the centre of defence.

| Another "cup final" where Leeds weren't able to perform anywhere near their potential. This run of poor form has come just at the wrong time.
One/two blatant penalties not going their way didn't help. With a midfield that passes backwards more than forwards it will always be difficult to penetrate a team who main objective is not to lose.
An interesting 4 games coming up - Farke has to earn his money and pick teams that are capable of winning games not just dominating possession.

| Didn’t play well but very very unlucky last night. Worst decision I’ve seen in a long time not giving that penalty. Left it too late to make changes. Joseph and Gnonto t should start Saturday.
Probably need to win at least 3 from last 4 now. Leicester are wobbling big time though imo..

| As I posted the other week, the international break has absolutely changed our momentum. The amount of corners we had to produce virtually no shots on goal is worrying. Can’t afford to slip up this Saturday.

| I think there's been a big overreaction judging by social media. It wasn't a great performance, but it was an improvement on Coventry. I would have liked to have seen subs sooner, but we have to remember Gnonto and Roberts were supposed to be out for 3 weeks, so they probably can't do more minutes. Having said that, I hope Gnonto is fit to start on Saturday. I'd start Joseph too. He'd give us some extra intensity, if nothing else.
Sunderland were very solid out of possession and really limited the space between the lines. I think that's 4 clean sheets in the last 6 for them now.

Totally agree. seen some absolutely ridiculous comments on the socials about the game... i've even seen a few saying Farke should be sacked, he's useless, always get subs wrong... etc etc ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif) the same Farke which has led this team to 87 points so far and nearly broke every club record going.. honestly what a set of idiots. End of the day it should have been an edgy 2-0 last night with 2 pens which is perfectly understandable at this stage, it was an nervy performance with a few players carrying injuries.
The crowd were also tense last night and it reflected on the players, Elland Rd can be a hell of a tough place to play, even for the home players. Like you say, we're most definitely playing patched up big time. I'd 100% start Joseph Saturday though, Piroe needs more mins too, he's the best goal scoring striker we have and got one against Coventry to give hime some confidence back. But, nobody can knock Farke and the job he's done, even if we don't go up he's still done a great job, he gets it right 99% of the time. Fans need to stick together, get behind the team and Manager and sing from the rooftops.
