Millwall at home was a win with an early Saturday kick-off as well. Still a Saturday, but another kick-off time at least.

Swansea different class to Leeds today. Midfield may as well not be there when we don't have the ball, again.

You could certainly tell which team had just been promoted and which team had been in the league for many years. Not to worry.

grayson got the team and tactics completely wrong,why he went with a 4 in midfield against their 5 i dont know howson and killkenny arnt exactly renowned for their tackling or keeping hold of the ball.swansea exployted leeds weakness in midfield which completly exposed the back 4.

a real kick up the jacksy this and i hope they take a long hard look at their performance and come back with a much improved performance over the next couple of weeks donny,preston and ipswich quite simply has to produce 9 points.

Sinclair ripped us up. As did their other winger Dyer is it? Could have been a different game obviously had Somma's header dipped in and if he put away his 1on1, which he should have, and then there's the penalty decision. Nevermind.

Our left back George McCartney was shocking, he was backing off and backing off all game and just letting Dyer run at him. He was $hit scared, i know he was on a booking and that's probably why Larry took him off but it was like playing with 10 men, he was just running backwards without ever putting a foot in and making a challenge. Dyer must have loved it.
None of our defenders covered themselves in glory with their displays but our midfield is the real problem for shipping too many goals and has been for most of the season. We've got Howson and Kilkenny and usually Johnson plays there but none of them can tackle, they dont do the defence any favours whatsoever and it needs sorting ASAP. They were constantly giving the ball away and then couldn't get back to defend, Kilkenny wants an age on the ball and you simply dont get it. Howson is pretty good when he's attacking but anything else and he's not up to it. Johnson will walk back into the team now we've been hammered but having him wont back wont change anything, he's just very similar to the other two and we need someone who's gonna tackle and get about people in midfield.
Becchio was awful, he gives his all and you cant ask for more but he's so clumsy at times, he's on his ar$e half the time or offside. Somma didn't do much but the service wasn't great although he should of scored when one on one but it was a good save, the header that hit the bar was a good effort aswell.
Swansea look at very good team, probably the best i've seen this season with Cardiff and have a great chance of going up. I hope they do go up, aslong as it's not Norwich, i'm sick of seeing them win although it wasn't a late winner this week.

Good result and some great goals against Donny. Gradel has 14 goals for the season which is a great season considering he was an impact sub when he first joined.
Still think we need to get somebody in on loan to play in midfield. Someone who will sit and break up play and can tackle because we cant carry on letting goals in as we are, another two against Donny and it should have been game over at halftime then we end up going 2-1 behind. We missed plenty of chances but it didn't matter in the end.
It was also a very good day with only Leeds and QPR winning out of the top 7, Norwich got a draw and the rest of them lost. We've got Preston away on tuesday and they've just started picking up abit. They got a draw at Norwich on saturday and they beat us earlier on this season 6-4 after we were 4-1 up so we owe them a beating but it wont be easy.

Good signing and it until the end of the season. He's good on the ball, a good passer and good going forward but he cant tackle like the rest of our midfield and that's what we need so i wonder if Larry is trying to get someone else in.
Bannan will probably play instead of Kilkenny.

From what I've seen of him on Match of the Day earlier on in the season, Bannon is a cracking little player - great passer of the ball in particular, so this could be a great signing. As has been mentioned above, defense perhaps isn't his strong point, but hey - Leeds don't bother with defensive play anyway, so he'll fit in perfectly

Wow, Leeds win on a Tuesday! Had to happen sooner or later I guess, but I had an awful feeling we were going to go the whole season without a midweek win in a league match. Good to atone for the awful result last time we played Preston too, and what with Paynter finally getting off the mark, and Swansea, Cardiff and Forest all dropping points, it's been a pretty good night all round!

Getting to that time of the season we're teams start dropping points and teams go on runs leading into the play offs. Hopefully we can stay in the top 6 as a few teams are starting to catch up!
