What is being said is nobody runs a line off him so we don't know whether he has a pass in him. It's on the money. Leeds attack in ones all the time. easy peasy to defend. Same thing happened with Aiton last Friday. Some nice runs across the line, gaps opened wide but not a single runner hitting them.

We saw a classic example of what Andy is talking about earlier in the year with the Delaney Bailey combo of all people leading to a cracking try.

You also have a point bout Delaney killing the ball t Watkins on occasions, mind.

Misinterpreting a point and extrapolating it, to turn it into something completely different to what was originally meant, in a cheap attempt to look clever.

We need to see a much improved performance tonight or we could be on the wrong end of bad result. Having back 3 of our more influential players in terms of both attack and leadership will help massively. I hope Mac allows Achurch to play in the 2nd row with Ablett and puts BD in at prop so we can see faster and better ball outwide to our back line. Numerous people have said on here that Achurch is much improved, and i think he adds a different threat with his offload and hard running outwide that we have missed in recent weeks. As has been said many times, our backs are frightening and we need to utilise them as the weapon they are.

With the run-in, semi etc looming, we need Moon for those. Not worth the gamble.

Not according to McDermott. Bailey injured with a groin strain. I think Singleton was dropped for Mulhern.

Yeh just heard that myself I just read one of Pete smiths tweets at half time at the game, saying both were fit and just not selected.

Groin strain was the excuse previously as well.

What a load of crap that was. Poor quality for 60 mins then suddenly we get try's. Should never have been more than 10 points between us. Most flattering scoreline I have ever seen. Bentham shocking with some really poor decisions, but won't complain too much as Hull KR only got one pen, which was ridiculous.

Walters brought back down to earth today. Looked well out of his depth this match. To be honest, I can only say Sinfield and Burrow were the only ones to really shine, didn't see anything great elsewhere.

It wasn't even a game of two halves, more like a game of one quarter.

So we only turn up for 20 mins and get 5 tries. Didn't sounds to too bad. Better than being poor for 3 quarters and losing

Bailey was injured McDermott has said post match, put his hand up to play but McDermott decided not to risk him. Singleton just wasn't selected. Sounds like everybody barring Clarkson (and obviously Yates) has a chance of making the Cas game.

Strange game tonight. We didn't have any points after 60 mins but thought we were much improved in attack compared to recent weeks in attacking as a team instead of in ones. Where we went wrong was trying to leave the pass too late too often and thus HKR hands got to knock the ball down (Bentham btw came up with some baffling calls tonight regarding who touched the ball) or wrap the attacker up straight away. Just one of those things that can happen when the form has been scratchy and you try force your way into form.

No doubt we'll have the "attack was rubbish" by some on here due to the fact we took so long to score but sometimes you have to look at the opposition and HKR deserve credit for an impressive defensive showing for 60 minutes. Had a feeling once the dam broke though that another couple of tries would follow.

Defence was also much much better barring that 5 minutes around when they got a try, which was a sloppy one to concede, think heads switched off thinking job was done after 3 quick scores.

What the game lacked was for a player to take the game by the scruff of the neck and make it his, Watkins looked close to doing so but his opposite numbers did well enough to not let him completely run riot. Eventually Burrow became the game breaker and would've been MOM even without any sentimentality about his comeback match. Briscoe I thought had an improved showing tonight and Sinfield and McGuire played well too.

Tonight showed how much we've missed Burrow, and keeping Aiton out there at the same time is a good option as you don't lose the ton of defence he gets though. Add Hardaker next week and that final 20 minutes allowing us to get a bit of confidence and a bit of a groove going then could well be the start of the upward curve we've been waiting for.
