| If you name a squad without a scrum half in it then expect the half backs to look unbalanced
Btw "God save the Queen" is the national anthem of New Zealand

So you are proposing replacing a mobile 2nd row to cover out wide with a slow prop? Mmm strange logic.
JJB did ok and is a sound defender with a football brain, has the stamina to play for most of the game, will be one of the first up for a kick chase, has good hands and makes breaks. OK he is not the biggest but is as good a 2nd row as we have available.
Whereas Bailey is a prop who is a good tackler around the ruck (but no better than JJB and not able to make as many tackles) but has little else to offer as a 2nd row.
I would play Widdop at centre in place of Yeaman and have another forward on the bench. Either a big prop in which case that would have to be Carvel or another mobile 2nd row and that would be Ablett.

Where did I mention MY choice would be Bailey ??
The inclusion of Ablett would no doubt strike fear into the Aussies' hearts.

| For me the talk of dropping JJB is a strange one, for me the worst forward through the two international performances has been wilkin, and I would suggest he should be making way for someone else on the bench.

| I'm not sure I'd make any changes. Widdop in the centres maybe, but I wouldn't add another prop, as I think they'd be under-utilised.
If we were to drop Wilkin, we'd probably have to go with Ablett, and I don't think we gain a great deal more from that

good post not bias in anyway, having a half back and a loose forward from the team that finished 5th in the league over man of steel and another established half back is a fantastic idea.

Yes that team finished 5th in the qualifying competition but finished in 1st place in the big one to decide the Champions. They were only just pipped into 2nd place in the Cup.
So that is why Leeds are the number ONE team this year.

Spot on.
He has been poor against week opposition. So has to be dropped. No brainer. He's played his way out of the team.

I'm not suggesting selecting Ablett but I do vehemently disagree with the statement above. Ablett offers much, much more than lightweight softcock Wilkin.

Personally I would rather have Ablett than Wilkin, what I am suggesting is that given where our coach has laid his cards he obviously prefers what Wilkin offers over that of Ablett. Both offer a good option at second row, with versatility to play in the backs if required. Wilkin has the advantage of more test experience (and losing GFs)

| There is one area where Wilkin is far superior to Ablett. That area is whining. When the TV cameras went into the Saints changing rooms in '09 at half time during the third consecutive Grand Ffinal they lost to us he whined, when Bailey was celebrating to the Leeds fans after Leeds beat them for the 4th time in this years Grand Final, he whined.
When Ablett had his face rearranged at Huddersfield, he didn't make any mention of it.
One of them is a whiny bitch, and the other is a tough competitor. I know which is needed against the Aussies and Kiwis.
Someone recently described Jon Wilkin to me as "Diet Kevin Sinfield", I think that's hard on Kevin Sinfield...

He's clearly had a cr*p life.
Born in Hull, 6(?) times grand final loser would endorse that.

I have always assumed that your lack of clear positive vision was because of the chemical smog that drifts over Nantwich from Widnes. Is it getting worse?
