Shabs you need to move on, we offered him a contract which he turned down as he obviously had an eye on an NRL return.

Letting Hurrell go isn’t the issue, it’s not replacing him that’s the bigger issue.

Oh yeah it’s completely the case . I pointed this out when he was allowed to leave (and he was), but I got shut down as people were saying we had a better squad than 2017!!!

We have got a better squad - if they could stay fit

One thing I never understood is that when in the NRL I only ever see him play on the right. Most of the time Leeds used him on the left. Maybe he prefers that but it always seemed odd.

No need for the insults Shabs it's just an opinion.

I think the additions of Fusitua, Bentley, Austin and Sezer outweigh the people we let go.

In addition to the youngsters being a year older if we could stay fit and stop the bans the squad IMO is better.

I honestly think this is the worst, most unbalanced, most injury prone squad we’ve had since I started watching Leeds in early 90’s. But you are all completely entitled to your opinions…..

Apart from injury prone I can only assume you were sleeping in 1996 and 2018.

I think with our knowledge now but at the start of the season many of us and most pundits thought it was one of the strongest in SL.....I don't now by the way

Take that amount of players out of a squad through injury and there's not many SL teams even Saints that will go well.

I think if he were still at Leeds in a team struggling against relegation his weaknesses would be even more highlighted unfortunately as the platform for him to show his strengths simply isn't/wouldn't be there.

I feel like there's been a bit of arrogance on Saints' part. Oh he'll be fine with us, in a [iproper[/i environment, not like Leeds.

Fact is, he'll basically end up being at fault indirectly or directly for as many tries as he contributes to. It's just if those ratios are out in a big game, and he ends up being a liability, bad luck.

It's because he's such a wholesome guy and would never do anything to deliberately hurt anyone.

Man of the Match yet again yesterday. 60m runs through Hull KRs middles, highlight reel reverse flick passes, outpacing Hull KR's slow outside backs to stroll in untouched, bone crunching tackles and 80 minutes with not so much as a laboured breath. Man is having a fine season.

He's still the flat track bully we all knew he was at Leeds. Not someone a team in our position can be carrying.
