I’d agree with that. It’s also fair to say on this occasion it’s not about what Dwyer can or cannot do. For me O’Connor earned the starting spot based on his performance last week, and Leeming is club captain and could cover half if there is a doubt over Sezer.

Totally agree re hookers. Purely on recent performances I would actually drop Leeming, captain or not.

Leeds are the biggest club, we carry Super League, just look how often we’re on sky and our viewing figures.

We should though. By far the biggest city and taken into context we could do a lot better in terms of crowds. Let's hope we can average 15k next year. Regardless of tonight's outcome I'd like to think the team have shown enough over the last few months to attract both new and old fans.

Let's not get carried away too much with the crowd. Although Wigan have been under performing for years off-field, the general trend for play off games at all clubs is for much larger than usual travelling support and lower than usual home turnout.

I don't get why you'd go to every game all year on your season ticket and miss the last, biggest just because you need to pay but it's a longstanding trend.
