Carbon copy of last week first half we moved ball well and scrambled well in defence as well T.Briscoe & Hurrell with 2 very good try savers, our off the cuff attack was fun to watch first half and that's as good as it got 2nd half we had no energy and we're fatigued and had poor discipline at times, Thaler was whistle happy all night not just pens but set restarts and wasn't really consistent with them either. Tbf we had no chance with the forward pack we were forced to go with really due to Injuries, Suspension & Covid, that must have been our lightest pack in history! Newman looked very sharp and played well for a player just coming back from a double leg break after 10 months. It was always going to be a up hill task like I said last week if we can get a break with Injuries & Covid we'll be there or there abouts at end of season big game against Salford next week at Headingley!

Teams knackered missing big bodies in hot weather. Move on

Losing the game over there is almost predictable, it’s the manner of the defeat that’s disappointing. Got absolutely smashed down the middle in the second half with a mass of penalties and errors.

First half was very good, and clearly we put everything we had into it hoping to hang on

It’s clear some players are knackered, and hopefully they don’t play next week as we need some fit healthy bodies in the coming weeks.

Spot on. For Wells to say "ok Leeds are missing a couple of bodies" is pretty amusing to say the least. Most of the pack was not out there. If that’s the best the comp has to offer, we’re certainly not that far away.

OK, Prior and Leeming have played a lot of minutes, but the rest of that team that played tonight haven’t over the last 3 weeks.
And we’ve had 7 days.
No shame in losing to Cats in France.
BUT - discipline is killing us.
Poor tackling technique from a few players, but Dwyer!!! OMG!
I darent even look at the penalty count.
Coupled with the obligatory 2 players missing due to being banned.

I hope we get another crack at them with Oledski and Tetevano in the 17. We lost the ruck in the 2nd half and struggled when Kasiano came on. Appreciate they have players missing but it would be a much more even battle with our 1st choice pack playing.

Weve always looked a better side with Lui in it, he’s a quality player.

Just hope we get some forwards back for next week so we can rest prior he looked shot tonight

Superb for 40, shambles for the next. It’s like we didn’t come out of the sheds. What was point in mclelland being on the bench if he wasn’t going to get on?

I almost felt sorry for him mate, looked fooked. If he doesn’t epitomise MOS though, I don’t know what does. They should have a player of the year and have it as a different award.

Disappointing. A tired team making too many errors n giving too many penalties away. The team was tired because of self inflicted errors and discipline as much as amount of games.

Hardly completed a set 2nd half. Couldnt slow them at all.

Gonna have to get on a roll now.

We could and should have rested Leeming, Prior, Dwyer, maybe Holroyd, maybe one or two from the back line last week.

Thought Smith had some nice touches second game back.

25-0 conceded in second half isn’t really good enough. Yes sone of the players have a right to be tired but they’ve been put in that position.

Not the end of the world I’m just annoyed with how predictable that second half was and how we opened the door again through stuff that we could still have controlled.

Hopefully next week we will start to come back together again.
