id be suprised if tickets made it to general sale,the only reason they went to general sale against spurs was because they sent back tickets which was for the south east corner.

the guy at the counter when i asked yesterday said

family stand -only a few left

which leaves the upper east stand,east central, and west stand so just the £38 tickets left.

He does right. Theres fans down there who go to every game and are struggling to get tickets. Why should people who will make it their only game all season and turn up in their "Thistle Hotels" shirts get first picks?

I'll always remember queueing up for 11 hours for the Leeds vs Watford final 5-6 years ago. I was a season ticket holder but was made to queue up all that time and got no priveleges for being a season ticket holder. The way they do it these day is alot better and fairer!

well said whist i go to most home games i arnt a season ticket holder and i dont go to many away games mainly due to my son who plays rugby on saturday mornings,i did however apply for nal away but i always knew it was a long shot and that season ticket holders would get most of the tickets and thats how it should be.

the number of people who have asked me to get them a ticket for next wednesday is unbelievable many of them like you say probably havent been since the play off final against donny or watford.

Season ticket holders have their ticket reserved until Saturday...which would mean they are not struggling.

I agree btw, I don't attend every game, just half a dozen home games per season, I don't deserve to swan up to ER and pick my ticket up. But there are systems in place that does make it fair and they do work! I wanted to see what areas we're still available and I successfully managed to log on and could easily have purchased the required tickets if I was a season ticket or member holder. These people that attend every game want to get in touch with technology.

Ok then there are people that go to most games and only miss a few. I know people that do this. Still they should have more right to go to a game than those that only go once a season, maybe filling an application form and proving how many games you've made it to a season like away games or finals!

The difference is that it's not the amount of games attended really, it's the fact the ST holders have put their money into the club before knowing how the season will unfold so showing dedication. People may turn up to more games than ST holders but not put the same amount of money in. And if you're arguing that you went to all games but weren't a ST holder so never got priority, then why not just buy a ST in the first place.

During the superb -15 season [size=50(well apart from the playoff final)[/size me, my dad and even LFCPatriotRhino attended every home game right up till christmas and then a fair few afterwards. Come playoffs i didnt even bother going for tickets as not being a season ticket holder i knew that it would be the same "thistle hotel mob" who would end up with tickets and i didnt reckon that i "deserved one" anyway not being a member/season ticket holder.

It still makes me cringe to see that sky sports interview with the bloke queing at Elland road for tickets who was a "massive, Hardcore" Leeds fan. "How many games have you been to this season?" asked the journo, "None!" says the bloke "I aint been to a game since the last time we were at Wembley!!" anything that cuts down on bandwaggoners is fine by me.

I have not been to Elland road for a Leeds Utd game in nigh on 2 years, so when the Arsenal game went to a replay i did ever so briefly think about tickets but then again why should I get them ahead of someone who has been all season?? I shouldnt. Thats why im not going.

How can only season ticket holders tickets be the only ones available?

Is the East Stand upper not open for the game? I though it was. And if so, no season ticket holder has a ticket for that, which gives another 8,000 tickets.

If it's not open then Bates is an even bigger dipstick than I thought, and I never thought that was possible.

Season ticket holders are being given until 3pm on Saturday to buy tickets for their seats, any not bought will go on general sale after the game at 5pm.

They would have been sold to members, plus season ticket holders can buy 3 tickets so they may move seats to the upper to sit with some chums.
