i really rated that lad 2 years ago, i felt he could be top class. however injuries have hit hard.shame for him,you can get away with it in the forwards but in the backs a lack of pace is not good

Wasn't just you mate but i think the point with gibson is he's shown imo a lot of potential and quality before and should be given as much time as diskin,jjb and scruton were to show it again.
Imo i don't think he was our worse player by a long chalk yesterday either.

I'd keep playing him until Smith returns, we have Salford next Monday and if Bradford haven't sacked McBanana by Thursday I'd expect us to rack up some points on them and hopefully he'll get over the line a couple of times and that'll give him confidence.

He's never had the 'wow' factor at 1st grade level at Leeds and post injuries he's been almost invisible to the naked eye.

Both 1st choice 17s are increadibly closely matched but your squad certainly has more depth. However, Anderson and now Potter are making the team rely less on superstars like we did in the Millward era.

Over the season you should finish 1st as you are a stronger squad but we'll see about OT - perhaps Potter can find the mercurial GF touch Anderson couldn't? I would happily take 2nd and an OT win!
