The problem with playing the game so early in the year is that players (particularly those who have been on representative duty) who require surgery in the off season to clear up niggling problems will often miss the game. So it's rare you're ever going to get WCCs played where both teams are at full strength.

There's no question that it's the best club SL has to offer. (Back to Back champions and all that.)

Both as close to full strength as they can be.
They've even had a game in England against an SL club to warm up.

He's not. He was the player that got an hat trick against us when Saints beat us 54 to 18 in 2006. A game that I thankfully did not have to suffer as my cousin wanted my company for a day out in Flamingo Land.
He was also involved in the win against Leeds in 2005 - 38 to 24.

Thats actually crap Damo. Stop Kites go forward and Orfords play making and we may have a chance. Player for player they are better than us in general. Brett Stewart must be one of the best FB's in the world and given half a chance will be under the posts before we have even realised he has the ball. |
