A few prem teams are chasing him this window. Lloyd Sam is as consistent as gradel for me. We need a tough stopper in midfield, someone in the batty or ince ilk

I heard 5 million for Gradel somewhere. If we could get half of that for him then we should probably accept. He's on a good run of form at the mo, but is erratic as well as being a bit of a loose cannon. Sam and Watt are effective in that position as well, probably no need to buy anyone.

Surely we have to take a gamble on Michael Johnson, don't we?
Agreed that we need a stopper in midfield, have been saying it all season. Amdy Faye is not bad, but perhaps a younger more mobile version would be better. Anyone available that we should be going for?

Keith Southern, Neil Danns, Adam Hammill. Not saying that's who we *should* be going for, but these are names I've seen mentioned.

We do (and have all season) need two deep midfielders, one a stopper and one an all-rounder, if we're playing a midfield three with Howson, and having Faye, Kilkenny and Johnson, none of whom are very good, as cover.

Think i might need to change my prediction to 8-1 for Saturday's game if Arsenal play like they are doing against Man City.

Heard a sneaky rumour that Leeds will be bidding 500k for Adam Hammill, which cannot be rejected due to a clause in his contract, Also another swoop for Adam Le Fondre is on the cards.

Many names being linked mate Keith Southern ,Danny Higginbottom,Woodgate ,Smith ,Colbeck,Birchell the list is endless.
I personally reckon Hammill will go to a Prem team and would only se us bid if Max left.
As for Le-Fondre i doubt it mate Midfield and Defence is the priority for reinforcements.

Can tell its transfer window time, alot of silly rumours doing the rounds! Defence & midfield needed improvement. Don't think we'll be in the market for a striker at all.

Given what I saw of Paynter against Pompey over Christmas we should be. Lump of Lard he is.

Cant see us going for Le Fondre or any other striker for that matter, we've got better than him who cant even make the bench some weeks for some unknown reason, Somma is better than both Paynter and McCormack but still cant get back in the side.
We need a centre half to partner O'Brien, Woodgate would do on loan if he can stay fit.

Couple of midfielders, someone solid in the middle of the park is needed badly, and i'm preying that someone takes Bradley Johnson off us, cant see teams queing up for him though.
Blackpool want Adam Hammill, i'd be well happy with him though, one of the best players in this league.
I dont really want to lose Gradel but if it's a good offer and we get Hammill then i'd be happy. Were more likely to cash in on him though and then not buy anyone which is just pointless, i know we've got Sam but it's weakening the squad all for the benefit of Bates' wallett.

Hammill couldn't agree terms with Blackpool, his wage demands were too high apparently.

Somma, McCormack & Becchio. I think Paynter just had a abit of a flukey season with Swindon, I don't know much about him at all though so maybe I'm completely wrong and need to STFU & GTFO before I get KTFO, and didn't he score about 99 penalties anyway? Still hope he turns good for us obviously.
