There was some talk earlier in the year about moving Ash to centre. I think (I'm probably wrong) that Arthur wants to stack the 3/4s with big strong ball carriers. Siva, one of his old boys, would fit the bill. I think Connor is there to provide strength in depth in the spine as well as centre.

You may well be right Hall and Sivo would give some real ball carrying strength to help the pack, ash and Harry in the centres , Jake the Snake putting pressure on everyone. Connor has a lot of skill but whether anyone can get him focused again , god knows.

I don’t know where Sivo’s game is these days but he would be a fan favourite if gets his form together

Still a prolific try scorer. I totally understand why everybody is focused on props, but from a coaches point of view I would imagine it's a balance. God knows we could do with some pop in the backs.

Sivo is still top draw. Would be a great addition.

I do worry a bit when some googling finds him described as both a prop and a second row. Not the dreaded "middles" again.

We do need at least one 2nd row, so I don't understand why so many seem to be confused about us being linked to back rowers.

As a Martin replacement it makes sense, as someone to lead our pack or munch metres not so much.

Watching the Norths he’s playing 8. Looks a unit, doesn’t look like a second rower to me. they’ve mentioned he’s coming to SL for 2025 didn’t mention a club though.

He actually reminds me of Oledski, carries a lot and makes metres

I watched Cooper Jenkins in the first 20 minutes. He played 8 and looked quite sizeable. He seemed to make good metres and did not look like a 2nd row to me. I read he has had a lot of injuries the last few years though which is a big risk.

Yes I read that too and he says he`s hoping he can kickstart his career in the SL after so many injuries have kept him from the first team!

He's a big boy, 6'4" and close to 17 1/2 Stones. That's either a massive back rower or a good size prop.
