A very interesting game ahead on Thursday considering FC won today. Big congratulations to them but that was a very tough encounter. Expecting a number of them not to play on Thursday. Expecting our lads to be refreshed from their family holidays they've been on this week. Will be intriguing to see who gets the fullback shirt, I'm back Walker to get it. Hopefully we see Garbutt back, but I generally doubt it.

If we cannot beat a team who have been celebrating hard after a week's rest then we don't deserve to qualify for the top 4.
A comfortable win should secure second spot and then we can start to plan for the semi-finals and hopefully another GF

I think Albert Kely might be rested and Josh Griffin out. No gimme though. I think Sutcliffe misses tackles at centre so would go with Keinhorst. Walker over Golding for me. Hopefully Garbutt will be back soon.

that was me. I spoke to him after the game. since then 4 people have told me he's asked to leave after having a bust up with the coach.

Mistake to write off Hull so easily. They have a very good and well balanced team and will be motivated to for a big finish for Ellis and their impact winger who leave at the end of the season. They must know that this season presents as good a chance as they will ever have of completing the double. They may still have a hangover but equally they may not.

if the right tactics are used, play fast and keep turning hull around, they'll be shot after 60 minutes. if.

Got to agree, I can't see Hull winning an arm wrestle. Our conditioning is outstanding given the size of the team, but the last few days will catch up with us in the second half. The only chance we have is if we can carve you up early and hang on when the fatigue kicks in, and that's a big ask.

Part of me just wants us to write this one off, rest the lot of them and make sure we are good to go the week after, but doing so means kissing top 2 goodbye.

there's no doubt all the top 5/6 have been helped by saints wires poor form and Wigan injury crisis.
but that was us last year. you have to take advantage.

This is by no means a gimme. Hull are in decent form and played well to win on Saturday.

I get the idea that its difficult for clubs to carry on at the same level after winning the CC but that doesnt always hit the straight away.

Perversely the short turn around might help hull in that they will have to be straight back in to it.
