Apart from the two sitters he bombed, and his Statue of Liberty impersonation when Hudds scored their First try, I thought Scotty could have been Man Of the Match

Pish poor performance. Execution was amateurish. Usual casual performance from Donald, hence his blown opportunities.

Were it not for Huddersfields attrocious handling errors we would surely have been beaten out of sight.

Pish poor reffing too. And whether we lost that penalty count or not, nobody can blame that one on McClennan and his coaching. The ref was just simply wrong on so many occassions.

Broughton went pretty well yesterday at Belle Vue.

If Donald is worth an extra year on this season's form then Broughton may as well make the move permanent.

Perhaps drop Donald for a match and try Watkins or another kid to show Scotty there's competition for his wing spot.

I think it's a knocking bet that Broughton wont be coming back.
It'll just be one of those 'Tansey,Dowes,Raynor,Carvell scenarios that Hetherington comes out with everytime.

What percentage of players that Leeds shiftout on loan come back to play more than one season with the club? can't be many.

What has happened to the guy ? Confidence must really be shot to pieces. I agree with dropping him for Watkins next match..but keeping Watkins on left wing and bringing back Hall on the right wing. Then bring Scotty back on left... alongside Keef. No more excuses after that.

Kylie was much improved today IMO. Watkins read that ball from Hodgson well, also didn't put as much ball on the deck as he has been doing this season. Thought Webb and JJB were below par, and without McGuire there was little organisation.

I was wondering that myself when I saw broughton go for hull. I've said I would have cut pre season and he's done nothing this season to make me think otherwise.

What about JJB running into the post - why?

Agreed - however Donald is an experienced NRL player - Burgess is a very average junior who is only getting a game at Leeds due to a misguided view that juniors needed to be brought through regardless of whether they are good enough

Whilst burgess has had an average season to date it doesn't mean he is an average player.
He is imo having second season syndrome which many players have suffered from,he is also playing in a very inconsistent team this year rather than the one he played in last year so i think yer being harsh there ER.

I don't know where that's from mate but when i checked the clock he was still on after 30 mins and was subbed just after!!
