It looks that way, people bag Dwyer, but i rate him, he has pro’s and cons but more pro’s, as a game breaker impact player he has been great value and won us plenty if games.
Lets hope Johnson really is as good as some on here think, and not another “great prospect” fails to deliver.

| Good news. I'd be a liar if I said Dywer hasn't provided me with some entertainment over the last five years, but he's also been the source of a great deal of frustration. I'd be really tempted to focus on both Johnson and Conner as secondary hookers for the remainder of the season. Not really sure of the point in picking Brad if he's heading elsewhere.

| If Brad Dwyer is leaving, then Corey must start playing regularly. I’m a fan of the kid, and he needs the chance to show what he’s got on a regular basis.

Couldn’t agree more. He should have that bench spot for a spell now. That’d be the best way to see if recruitment is needed there or for him to prove himself.

| The good thing is that we have a head coach with no loyalty to anyone. He'll want to see improvements with an eye on next season. Johnson is more the Cameron Smith type hooker who picks the right option and throws accurate passes, something Aussie coaches build teams on. Just hope he can make the step up

| Agree with all of the above Johnson should be given game time to progress. It will be interesting to see how Dwyer goes at Saints. Hes such a rocks and diamonds player. Gives 100% all the time and can change the energy of a game but then can't give a simple pass from dummy half or will take a daft option when a set play is on. The big saints forwards will certainly notice a difference to the quality ball that they have been used to with James Roby

| I think Dwyer could go better than you might think at Sts. They are a winning team and if he goes there I doubt the coach would put up with too much headless chicken stuff. While he has issues like pass accuracy, Leeds have put him in a position where he's expected to 'do something', not just for 10 minutes but for long spells and entire games, because our attack has been utterly dire around him. If he leaves I wish him all the best.

| Agree with what others have said that Johnson, offensively, is more in line with what an Aussie coach would want.
As for Dwyer and saints. I assume the way they’re currently set up, he’d be getting the 10-15 minutes Lussick currently does, and I think he’d be good at that.

Yes he had a very good game, took the place of Lilley but I don't know if he was injured or dropped.

Good that he's getting some game time and even better if he's outstanding.
Just not sure how it helps his development as a hooker.

| I’m told that Dwyer has been given ‘permission’ by St. Helens to look elsewhere while they wait on Robys decision.

My understanding is that he’s already signed with Salford due to a “change in circumstances” at Saints.

| Presumably Roby's going to go round again then? Salford are better than us at present, but it did seem a bit strange him going to Sts. If any side has shown the importance of a quality hooker its St Helens.

| No, presumably the 'change in circumstances' is that Saints have realised that Dwyer can't pass....

I'm confused (doesn't take much), has Brad actually signed for Saints ? If not, why would he need their permission to look elsewhere, he's a free agent at the end of the season so can sign for whoever he wants surely?

Agreed. If he has Actually signed for Saints and I was in his shoes I’d be saying I’m happy to stay at Saints, I will however talk to other clubs once you have paid me compensation.

He may have a verbal agreement but 8f Robey goes round again this might change. If this is correct then Saints probably don't want Dwyer to be in no man's land come near the end of the season.

You maybe right.
Verbal agreements are not worth the paper they are not written on.
