I actually think Golding has gone really well at hooker, id have him over dwyer as interchange hooker any day of the week

He reminds me of a young Sam Tompkins the way he glides across the pitch. If he can improve his decision making he'll be a future international in no time.

I agree with you here. He's got the pace to jump out of dummy half and seems strong in defence. Interesting to see what he could do with some time and training in the position. I love his attitude too. Last night there was a tackle where he got bumped off and you could see him give himself a slap to do better

Imo he'd be next in line for Marquee money i.e written into his next deal after a certain no of games.

For those who've watched the NRL over the years, he really reminds me of Brett Stewart. Always seems to be in the right place in both attack and defence, and whilst doesn't look electric quick off the mark, he glides across the ground and is super fast.

No thank sure there's has been crititism over him, criticism of the hype maybe, and criticism of certain fans attitude to Golding if Golding gets picked instead of him. Think we all know what a great prospect he is, but some off us have seen this before with certain players, who look great when the break through then fail to kick on. Hopefully he will kick on.

His attitude in general has been outstanding, got given the number 1 shirt only to have his position taken away in the same tear to s younger kid, but he’s showed great attitude and patience and commitment to the team.

I personally think he will be off pretty sharpish, hopefully stays in RL but can see union calling. He showed last year he wants the money, be surprised if he is still playing for us by the time he is 21.

He seems like a great lad. I hope he finds a position which he can settle in, for his and the benefit of the team.

But it wasn't about the money. He wanted to play fullback because he sees that being his best position, and not stand off. Sure he could have made more at the other clubs that were interested in him

Spot on. Rolling Thunder has been bagging Walker for weeks. Don’t know how he has the cheek to state above it was about the hype, nobody criticising him. He talks nonsense about the fullback position, and I bet, wouldn’t know a decent fullback if it smacked him in the face. As for the money accussation, last year proved completely the opposite to what he is alleging, even after the unprofessional actions of the club.

No vendetta at all, but as i have stated seen a good half a dozen players of his ilk, they get hyped to hell and iften fail to live up to expectations
I will reserve my judgment until he stats living up to the hype, its ok looking good against 12 man leigh championship side or scoring a debut hat trick against Doncaster, but lets see him doing it in super league. I hope he does i really do, but i have no vendetta. I really hope he does live up to the hype, but remember liam Sutcliffe, dusligded Sinfield from the side at 18, most would not pay him out in coop cheques now.

Really good last night. When he starts turning it on at that level against the top sides is when his potential's been realised. I hope he's capable of that and I think he will.

I love Golding's attitude. He seems the type to work his socks off wherever we play him, and strive to do his very best.

I actually agree with you on been careful on over hype, and the example you used. Where I disagree is that you have somehow seen that Golding has looked better at fullback, there is quite a difference between the two players. And think you have allowed the know nowts on social media to influence your own opinions, because of the hype.
