| After a good shout at Mr Thaler (useless git) I have come away proud of my team and happy that I have seen my home ground with the size of crowd our town deserves. No complaints about the outcome and some of your tries were excellent. The game - apart from Ryan getting upto his old tricks - was played in a great spirit and if you want to loan RB out anytime we will have him. Would just like to get your lots feedback of your experience of Leigh and the LSV ( our stadium). It's been a lovely evening and I hope all of you lot that made the trip got back home safe and sound.
Come On You Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeigh.

| Just got in and i enjoyed the whole experience obviously the result and our perfromance when we upped the gears.
The directions were spot on easy to park and plenty of nearby options for a drink ,food and to mingle with the locals.
The stadium is imo a step up from the new Salfrod one and those with me who went to ST's say it's better that Langtree park aswell had some good banter and i thouyght your lads did your club proud and didn't give up for the full 80 we'll have to agree to disagree re-Thaler because i thought he took the p!$$ the number of times Burrow got ted high and as for Bailey it's very rare ANY call goes his way so i'm happy to go with the call that Littler had a pop.
Good luck for the rest of the year.

| Great atmosphere, good ground, better than wakey cas and on a par with bothe the new salford and new saints ground IMO and some good attacking rugby played by both teams. Leighs first being the pick of the night for me.
Apart from your 17 blatantly punching Bailey in the face in a tackle it was a tough, fair game of rugby league

| I thought Leigh played some great rugby at times tonite their first try was right out of the top drawer , but when your faced with World Class players like Kev Sinfield and Co its always gonna be a bridge too far Bailey had a teriffic game for you lads tonite and looked in my opinion one of best forwards around in World RL,Sinfield proved one again he,s one of the best tactical players in the game he was outstanding as usual'
From my point of view i really enjoyed the game and it was great to see at last some fans actually turning up to support their team when playing away you lads had more coach drivers than the Catalans brought fans last season at Leigh, thanks to all the Leeds fans who turned up and i hope you enjoyed playing at our ground against a team of mainly local lads..Best Wishes on reaching the final and thanks for stuffing the Aussies earlier in the season !!!

| Turning point was Leeds third try.
So far forward it was untrue.
Well done Leeds but be honest that scoreline did not reflect how well Leigh played.
Any chance of us having Rob Burrow on loan for a couple of months ?

| I don't think he meant it like that, rather that we needed to score next to stay in the game. Whether the try was from a forward pass or not is a moot point, you would have won regardless.

Derek, both sides got away with stacks of 'forward passes'. (Check the two that put McNally through on the half time hooter) The point for me, is that Championship refs. tend to call them forward. It would be nice to see some referreeing consistency. That said, I thought Thaler let the game flow - and surely that's what spectators want to see? Leahy did the same at Sheffield last week, and that upset Eagles' fans, no end, but it made for an entertaining spectacle.

17 was our very own Leeds lad Tommy Gallagher. He knows Bailey, grew up in the academy with him and obviously tried to get a reaction.
Ryan Bailey IMO was outstanding, has been most of the season, and is definately worthy of a lengthy contract after Kylie departs! Lets get him back in his no 8 shirt!

| Agreed, think Bailey was the best forward on the pitch.
Leeds fans were great before and after the game.
As a RL fan watching Sinfield, Burrow and Hall was a pleasure.

| leigh should be proud of their team who played some good rugby and made a game of it dispite the final score. The stadium is excellent and puts many super league clubs to shame, directions spot on and parking was great. Oh and by the way thought your fans gave terrific support to the team.
Bailey and Moore really gave us some real momentum when they came on, I originally thouht Moore was a poor addition to the squad but as shown me what I no about Rugby with some good games.

| I had to laugh at Ryan Baileys reaction to being brought off. It was one like you used to do when your mum made you come in for your tea when you were playing out. Class all over the field from Leeds. At times we just couldn't tackle you but I think your boys will know they were in a game even with that scoreline.

We did tackle them.
They just dicided to 'offload' in impossible positions !!
Bailey and Moore changed the game on 20 mins me thinks !

| I thought the overall experience of last night was fabulous.
We drove straight from work, no problems getting there. Free parking right outside the ground. Popped to Morrisons for some food - the nice lady on the hot chicken counter gave me extra chicken because "you hardly get any meat on them drumsticks so I'll pop another in the bag for you". Got a bottle of cider and sat in the sun having my tea.
No problems getting in the ground or with the seating.
Great game although I don't think the score did Leigh no justice, especially in the first half I though the forwards where fairly evenly matched.
Salford should have used the Leigh Sports Village as a template on how to build a new 'out-of-town' stadium. In fact Castleford and Wakefield should take a good look at LSV when building their new stadiums and avoid taking advice from Salford.

| I've got say that out of the 3 "new" stadiums I've visited recently Leigh is far and away the best overall. The atmosphere is good at Langtee Park but is a little bit isolated giving you the feeling of an out of town stadium with no real soul to it. The Sports village is literally next to the town giving it a real feel of being part of the community. Sadly Salfords comes a poor 3rd with problems in its' positioning and the lack of atmosphere inside the ground. We were in the East Stand last night and I've got to say it's as good a view as I've had at a rugby match with adequate leg room for a big lad. The craic in town beforehand was spot on and we felt more than welcome in the Goose thanks to a lot of the Leigh fans that have been posting on here. As for the game, I think the scoreline ultimately flattered Leeds and the Ryan Hall interception on the last play blew the score out even more leaving non viewers thinking it was a cakewalk. It really was nip and tuck for the first 30 minutes and Leeds knew they were in a battle. Leeds were always going to be stronger as the game wore on courtesy of their full time status, but Leigh can hold their heads high for testing us more than the score suggests. Good luck for the rest of the season and thanks for the welcome.

| Got to pretty much echo what others have put. We ignored the clubs advise and went down the East Lancs and the stadium was very easy to find. Parked pretty much outside Legends Bar, but decided to go to Leigh East, which was a good decision imo opinion as it's a nice club, despite them having the 71 final playing on a loop! Also got straight out after and didn't get caught in any traffic.
Ground was definitely better than Salford's, although I thought Langtree Park was a touch better. Don't get me wrong, that's not knocking LSV as it's a top class ground and a brand new stadium for a top club should be better really.
Fans were great but to be honest I was expecting that after reading the posts on here during the week. I don't know what's wrong with this Leigh lot, they've really not got the hang of RL Fans have they?
Game - what I would have guessed. Leigh gave us a good contest and whilst the scoreline didn't reflect their efforts it's pretty much par for the course. When the game goes late the fitness of the full-time guys is really noticeable and tires start to flow. Oh, and Bailey, what can I say? I think he enjoyed himself as much as the fans did!

| Glad you enjoyed the trip fellas, we always try to make the LSV a welcoming place with a good atmosphere so I hope that's what we managed last night - last night the place really felt like 'home' which is obviously an ongoing process after playing at Hilton Park for so long.
Good to bump in to Leeds Owl in the Goose, hope you enjoyed it mate.

As a matter of interest, Salford are training full time at the Leigh Sports Village complex, as their shiny new facility hasn't got adequate training facilities!

Leeds Owl on the Leigh board this morning I named you Little Owl,a daft mistake especially when you must be about 6ft.4".
When I posted though I was just getting ready to go for the train to Wigan, the result made it a good day for me.
Hope to see you on the Semi or Final. Cheers.
