Good road systems leading to the vicinity of the ground and the stadium grounds itself has plenty of room for redevelopment. IF the RFL go about this the right way it can only be a positive thing for Rugby League in England.

I predict the RFL to move into Odsal portacabins in the next year or two, and also offer Wakefield a 'ground share' option.

Sounds like Bradford Bulls would have gone in administration if the RFL had not bought the rubbish tip that is the Grattan Stadium.

The RFL already own Cougar Park, Keighley and have part ownership of other sports grounds.

Nothing has changed for Bradford, apart from who they make the cheque for the rent to.

According to the reports, the RFL have purchased the stadium from the Bradford Bulls, therefore Bradford Bulls get a lump sum of money.

The Bradford chairman is quoted as saying on the BBC website "The sale to the RFL safeguards our immediate future and keeps all the options open once the economy recovers from recession."

Therefore IMO it's bailed them out big time.

The RFL bought the ground from BCC, therefore stopping the council from selling it to developers.

They haven't bailed them out of anything.

BBC website clearly states that the RFL have paid the Bulls an undisclosed sum for the ground, however I may well have been a fool in believing the BBC, now that I have checked other media platforms.

The point that Wheels was making though is that Bradford didnt own their ground, so how can the RFL pay them for it?

Fair enough,

I was under the impression, as were others I have spoke to, that the Bulls rented the ground off BCC in the 1st place. It can only be good for the Bulls though. £16m is a decent amount.

Should have just bulldozed it and moved them into a groundshare at VP
