Will any bans or punishments be handed to these two for their actions last night?

Carmont for me should be a very nervous lad this morning after that punch on Weller

Lima won't get any more than a warning letter, I don't think he went in to do damage, he just mistimed it badly. Don't recall the Carmont one, is he on report?

I didn't see any 'On Report' sign given by Balserwood however the screen must have shown it 3/4 times and each time it looked worse

Carmont broke Hauraki's nose with an open handed attack to the head. 1 match at worst. Lima went in to injure Clarkson and should get at least 2 games if not more.

You mean the accidental contact with his head whilst trying to tackle a player being brought down in a tackle! Give over!! Won't even be mentioned again.

Lima's ended up bad but did start above the knee, like a lot of tackles in Super League, then slid down. Reckon he'll still get a games ban though.

So is accidental contact with the head ok? IMO it wasn't accidental, it's not like he didn't have anywhere else to aim for, and he Hauraki wasn't stepping Carmont. I don't think Carmont is a dirty player, but he got that one wrong, badly. If it had been Bailey on Tompkins would you feel the same way?

Lima knew what he was doing, and has previous this season for tackling technique likely to injure.

Didn't I hear Silverwood say the Carmont one was accidental when a Leeds player (probably Sinfield) was asking for a penalty.

Accidental or not isn't that still usually a penalty?

I thought the Lima incident was appaling, but his reaction was more telling of Wigans tactics. He couldn't see what he'd done wrong, which can only suggest to me that they are coached to tackle like that.

If he does come up before the disciplinary no doubt Wigans appeal will be based on 'he's still getting to grips with the superior Super League and its speed, blah, blah, blah.

Struggle to see how the carmont one didn't result in a penalty to Leeds - but refs don't always get it right.

The ref got it in his ear it was accidental and told Sinfield it had been looked at upstairs when he asked about it and that will be the end of that. As for Lima ban him for the season for me.

Lima doesn't attack the standing leg, it wasn't even a penalty.

the first tackle on hauraki was high and carmont came in and smacked him even higher. in my opinion it wasn't intentional but it was reckless and he deserves a week off

I didn't think what Lima did was so bad at the time (no worse than lots of other such instances) it was just unfortunate that Clarkson was twisted over by the combination of defenders after Lima had joined in at the side.

yes carmont to be banned, but cross punching sam is just fine
