Just interested in what people are doing.

Whilst the fact that it's back at Cardiff is a definite plus, it's completely out weighed by the fact it's not a Bank Holiday weekend!? So if you want to watch all the games there's no free time to do anything else anyway as I'll have to head straight back after the last match on Sunday.

I'm obviously still going but it seems to me like they haven't thought it through. Would've preferred to make a weekend of it and it's now looking like we're just going for our match and coming home.

Also, is there any word as to what the fixtures are? Is it just whatever Round 1 was going to be anyway or something different? I've heard rumours it's going back to "derbies" although I always feel sorry for the Quins/Catalans fans in those circumstances.

I have heard that the hotels have put the prices up just hope the weather out side is better but again i cannot see more the 30000 on each day at least it is near by to the city centre

I need to know the KO times ASAP as I may actually make this years event. However, I need to make arrangements soon so if the RFL don't publish the fixtures and KO times soon I doubt I will be going.

We are not going. We used to go as a party of 7 but not this year. We make a long weekend out of it, and that is not possible this year due to the fact that it is not a long weekend. Nor do I want to go and freeze in Feb thanks very much. Sooooo...... well done RFL. IMO you have right royally ballsed up what started as a great concept.

We have been to all of them so far - if we decide to go next year, it will be there and back in the day. I dont know why they didnt bin this magic thing and just have the home and away games so that there isnt any advantage when a certain team plays the weakest team and gets two points from the magic and then another four from the two league meetings. Then again, when it was derbies we used to do that anyway! What the RFL should have done is left it out and kept the free weekend for the international fixture against France which over the years has robbed us of a few players that particular weekend.

Hotel booked already - going down Saturday morning returning Monday afternoon.
