From Weds/Thursday this week there has been a influx of students into Headingley its the big change over week/end

Generally traffic tails back down headingley lane to town over this week end due to volume of students coming into central headingley - i may be wrong

but all i am doing is highlighting the potential for it to be even busier on this big match day and parking / traffic round the ground and headingley may increase this saturday

Bloody students.

Surely its been the week that students have been going home, not arriving - arriving for what ?

I know I was going to go and book a van at a well known van hire company on wednesday and they told me not to bother as it was their busiest day of the year as parents took out vans to transport their darlings back from far flung places.

Fortunately my two study in Leeds

At least in my day Students were clever.

Was the open day last weekend. Should all be over now?

Students come to move into the new houses pick up keys etc etc - there contracts with landlords run - jan to end of june - jul to end of december

there was large numbers of students out side all letting agents this week i suspect more will travel at the weekend

They wont be moving in til August time.

The landlords wont let them move in straight away, repairs and renewals need to be done first.

My mates accommodations have never had any repairs done to them.

If they need doing should i say.

Gaffa tape, pollyfiller and dulux touch-ups allround then.

Its the weekend for moving house, or 'Duvet Day' to those in the know.

All the students' housing contracts for the next year start on 1st July, so they'll all be moving in or out this weekend.

If the house is rented from 1st July without any repairs being made then the landlord will be happy for them to move in

Thats what our client usually does. Unless its something serious, he then gets his mate to do a better bodge.
