| To my knowledge, 5 players have left this season:
Webb, Smith, Pitts, Hauraki, Amor and possibly Ambler (can't remember if he left this season on a permanent or last)..........and so far we have only signed Aichurch. If you look at the ins/outs over the last few years there is a big deficit. I know Leeds got to the acadamy GF, but do we have the talent in the junior ranks to fill these gaps? I'm sure we haven't finished in the transfer market yet but it is a bit of a concern.

I hope so...........I don't think he's a superstar by any means, but he seems to have slotted straight in with the rest of the team and you can't fault his work ethic. Not sure where this would leave Mcshane and/or Hood though. I'd like to keep Hood, but think the jury is still out on Mcshane.

| kirke is meant to be going too and it wouldn't shock me if moore left. singleton is ready to step up but i feel we need a specialist left centre. we can't keep messing about with people filling in there

| I'd like to see Singleton get more gametime and we dont sign another Prop then TMFMISL revert to our Prop rotation to give Kylie and JP more games off because lets be honest we cant flog those two week in week out like we have this year.
Also if we are moving Keinhorst onto a dual reg deal then i'd like to see a LC come in.

| I'd much rather Ablett be given the number 4 jersey than trying to find a better centre that's both available and cheap enough to be accomodated.
Yesterday did nothing to alter that view. Very good overall despite the odd error as Leeds went kamikaze leading up to the interval. Makes a better attacking centre than an attacking second row. Defensively he does a fairly similar share irrespective.

| I dont think Lunt will come cheap if we pursue that signing although not on the Buderus scale nor do i think Moon would be a "cheap option".

Exactly what the captain and Coach mentoined today at the homecoming we need stronger squad depth and better rotation and to improve our weekly consistency they both said it and i agree.
To think everythings spot on and we are "sorted" is both foolish and wrong imo and hopefully we will improve the areas highlighted by the Coach and players and also mentioned by fans at times.

| I understand Kev's sentiment. My experience of employers is that they won't splash the cash unless it's absolutely necessary.
Continued investment in youth development and very occasional big name signings will be our lot I suspect.

I wouldn't hold out much prospect of either being based at Headingley next season if that's the case.
Lunt and Moon too pricey for Leeds ..... good grief I knew money was tight but hadn't realised it had got this bad.

I thought Huddersfield didn't want him (not fitting in to their plans etc.) and therefore up for release at the end of the season (All this contract cancelled by mutual consent malarkey)

| The coach likes taking teams on with 16 players. I wouldn't spend a penny on extra players until he gets out of that habit. Bit rich for McDermott to say anything about squad depth when he never uses it.

| I personally wouldn't have thought Lunt would cost too much. It depends really if he doesn't want to be at hudds then there is no point in keeping him if he doesn't want to be there and could be cheap ish.
Not too bothered regarding moon. If we cannot find anyone dramatically better than ablett then give him the 4 shirt with keinhorst being introduced as and when

Tvoc why the sarcasm?
Both require some sort of a fee to gain release from their current deals and neither would be on peanuts wage wise so where do yiou get they'd be too pricey or cost nothing?

| As far as I'm aware Lunt is on very good money - long term contract renewal after being selected for international honours. I'm also not sure Anderson would want him to go.

Our lot? Like two cup finals and defending a Championship?
Oddly enough. Watched Moneyball the other night, reminded me of GH's recruitment policy.

Come on.....Leeds couldn't even afford to retain Amor.....
second rower Ablett will get the no.4 shirt
Delaney no.12
Some irony there maybe considering the position the latter was signed for.
Hardaker no.1
Lunt no.9
Ward no.14
Achurch no.15
and.......
Be grateful man....that's your lot.

Is that Wakefield lad (Lauititi) available ? Cannot think of anybody else that is 'affordable'
Ablett has handled the LC role admirably and will probably get the role officially next season (with Keinhorst as probable cover - forget Moon)......but for me he is still best at LF (not second row)

Totally agree....no need to look outside of our current squad to fill this role. Also given BJB somewhat inconsistent form when looking at defence, Keinhorst could potentially have a run out on the wing should Ablett get the nod at . Reading earlier reports Keinhorst played wing at for England and GB students on their down under series win before coming into the U20's.
May be good to give competition to the squad next year and improve both sets of players....just a thought

Ablett may well have been down on the team sheet at centre tvoc, but a number of times during the game on Saturday he was actually switching with JJB and running the second row channels. Quite a few of his excellent attacking runs came from that switch.
Of course, his try and the assists came from the centre role. But his attacking side of the game would be the same if moved back to his backrow postion.
