Aside from the slight faux-pas wherein nobody mentioned a draw, didn't they used to do a draw for the final to determine who was the "home" team? Do they still do that?

Yes, they toss a coin and the 'home' side gets to wear their home kit (if there is a clash) and gets the England/Home dressing room.

Tossing a coin for which dressing room you get to use or which playing strip to wear is not a cup draw by anyone's definition.

Very tedious and predictable cup draw.

An 8 game win accumulator at the bookies (not including handicaps) will only pay odds of around 2/1. Take the Leigh/Halifax game out and you'd be lucky to get odds of 1/2 on the other seven games.
