Although I suspect that your comments are for the benefit of Mr Eve, if you seriously believe that any Super League side could have lived with the Storm for even the first twenty minutes, you are clearly taking some excellent stimulants and I would like to know the name of your dealer.

I don't think any super league side would have done any worse or better than the Doggies. Storm are a truly unique team, but the NRL isn't anywhere near as futuristic as Bill would like us to think.

Canterbury never looked like scoring despite a number of repeat sets. Barba's kick for Morris the closest they came. Panic rugby set in, discipline waned and they were a beaten team well before the final whistle. The only team to get over the tryline in the second half was Melbourne, Norrie's try rightfully disallowed. As already mentioned If Smith had his kicking boots with him the game would have been over at half time.
